hi bro.. managed to fix mine by changing the battery. first shop changed to wrong size battery, and as such the bike could not properly charge the battery. so i went to another mech... trial and error for 4 hrs.. then he realised the battery changed was a "type 5" and stock was a "type 4". and he was spot on. bike working perfectly now.. also make sure u dont change to higher volt headlamp

Hi guys I'm having problem with my bike. Below are my encounters: 1) When turning on the ignition key, at times it will take some time for the head light and sensors to start up (estimated ard 5-20 secs depending on luck) but at times it works fine almost instantenously. 2) My bike engine will suddenly die off when I'm braking to a staionery position (brake lights on) , when using signal lights in stationery position as well as using high beam in stationery position. I been to mech and they could not really fix it. Instead they determined that it was the head light that was causing it as when the headlight was plugged out, all the electronics, i.e. signal, brake lights could work perfectly without the bike dying off. So they suggested to put a switch so that i jus use the smaller headlight and dont use the bigger headlight when on a stationery position. But i feel this is not really fixing the problem. The mech also determined that its not the battery fault as its a new battery. Hope the experts here can help me out.

Guys I'm looking to change to a S4. I was quoted 9k for FZ plate and 11k for FBA plate.. both is Spec III. Prices are OTR excluding insurance. Please advise if it is a good deal or not.. FBA plate S4 seems to be in a better condition than FZ plate.. and FBA plate mileage is around 30k+ Thanks in advanced!

aiya how can u compare s'pore and malaysia. here the coe alr a killer. tht piece of paper (COE) is sometimes even more ex than the car itself.

fz150i i got it for abt 8k otr, coe was 2.5k then . i dunno abt the other one

any recommended EO? thinking of using OWS or Bel-Ray..

Dunno about 2nd hand bro.. you should check around diff shop to estimate the price. i bought a new one at almost 8k OTR. so you can take an estimate from there.

will seriously consider your recommendation for that tyre. any shops to recommed that sells those tyres? i usually frequent bikeworkz or unique motors. both @ kaki bukit.

careful bro.. tyres impt. been using Battlax tyres on my current ride. so far so good. grippy and gives me confidence in cornering. only thing i think it wears quite fast. jus changed late last yr now thread disappearing soon.

Thanks for the very detailed explanation bro... So basically jus keep to the speed u mentioned. and use mineral EO till 1600km Then for RPM bro pyro13 mentioned jus keep below 7000RPM.. OK lah. all set.. will be getting the bike nxt sat if all goes well.

Hi guys, I recently bought a new FZ150i but will only get my bike next week. haha i know now is the worst time to get a brand new one, but have to lah for my personal reasons. 1) Can anyone advise on the running in procedure for this bike? like which KM to change oil etc. and at what speed must I maintain. 2) Maintenance wise, other than EO, oil filter and spark plug, what others do i need to take note? I saw somewhere in previous post mentioning about STP- for fuel injection system? 3) Tyres. How bad is the stock tyres? any recommendation for tyres? sorry i dont go to Malaysia, so I can't get the highly mentioned and recommended "Maxxis" tyres. Any good and long lasting tyres in Singapore? Also, are the tyres with tube or tubeless..? Hope to learn more from more senior riders on this bike like yourselves!
