BROTHER OF VARA, MAFITRA CONVOY Hi guys, i just spOKE TO Mafitra, the groom for tmr. he requested for a one way convoy from blk 239 compassvale walk to Blk 709, woodlands dr 70 The groom will leave at 230pm to woodlands from sengkang. Therefore it will be best those attending try to be at compassvale by say 2 pm to have a light lunch first,,, shall i propose meeting up at kallang Mac and then we can ride together to sengkang? say about 1 pm? As for fuel consumption, i used to get about 15km/l after tuning and dyno with KNN air filter, I used to hit reserve at 330kms with normal riding...and another 60 clicks of reserve (yes, i had ridden her dry before) with spare fuel of course. So i think 11km/l is quite major man, Have to check your entire fuel system. maybe a good carb service, and a new filter will help also spend the 60 bucks and dyno the bike at hkl for best tuning. Lets meet up guys...

Hi bro,,, i have been checking out BBs for a while now and see this trend...best for you not to follow shop pricing...shop can sell for 10k with new COE and ppl wil still buy cos the shop provide loans.... As for your bike...i will say, if you do not renew COE before selling, look at 4.5k stock and 5.5k with some accesories. I seriously suggest not to peg on or hope too much getting back money for the full system, its now just an accesory to clear the bike faster at say 5.8k at most..... COE is very impt i guess,,, Bike shops will sell at 7-8k with new coe so you can minus of the COE of 2.6k(based on prices now) and see what its worth...even so, agreeing with Bro Confused, dun peg yourself with shops, for you, you want to clear it....or if thats too low for you to release the bike at, then you could always renew and keep using it for a while more before selling. I wouldnt be surprised if if you push it to the shop, they might only buy it for 3.5k now and with pipes maybe 4k...

Like i said, somebody asked whether delink good or not, i answer lah Sometimes you will be shocked that technical issues dun require that much thinking or monry to solve bro and whats this about assets bro?? i never mentioned money or assets or anything monetary about myself what bro Why are you even going there? Its a simple question, Delink good or not and you had to mention its a modification and if you got a bit of money, why not? Even the gurus of the bird agree its not advisable to delink..... Like i said lah guys,,, this is my two cents worth.....We were talking about delinking and i address as a financial issue cos bro stwb mentioned cost concerns..... I understand, money is yours bro jimmy and you sure can do whatever you want with it. I am glad that you can afford these modifications.... If you wanna proclaim that its an upgrade however, i beg to differ......... CBS or not, the bird is the bird. But lets not all seem to make it look that its perfectly ok to de-link....Bro Jimmy, you are 35 years old and have seen the road a lot more than some ppl who will actually need the CBS system... some of the bros here are merely 22-25 years of age and in that context, have seen the road for a good 10 years lesser. I am in no sense claiming that they are any less a Class 2 rider and nor am i trying to prove that they are any less a biker compared to me or you or anyone in here for that matter... I personally have been riding for 16 years now and even now i can claim that **** happens.... it can indeed happen anytime.... But i am also a biker who understands, that life is very precious... and it also can go at any given moment. I am merely a GSX 750 owner... excuse me if i may sound intrusive but like i said, just my two cents... dun have to agree lah bros :)))))

Hi guys, i may not have ridden or rather owned a BB before, but i sure owned the Varadero1000 with the same CBS technology before.... All i can say is, if you know how the CBS works and how it helps the bike esp a fastand heavy one like the BB stop, I dont think you will have ever considered the de-linking.... The CBS has its way of working on percentages of 60% front and 40% rear and its a very advanced system that is still used today on the Latest Honda models....even the VFR 1200 F. My two cents will be never to delink, and challenge what the engineers at Honda, have spent ALOT of money researching.... A cheaper alternative is also a very dangerous alternative... Cos now, even though you may have better braking response at lower speeds, you are at a HUGE loss at higher speeds cos not all your pistons are working.... Like what Bro Jbat has highlighted, it takes a bit of work to get all pistons werking.... With a fast bike like the BB and with the way its usually ridden on the NSHW, its a handicap at high speed... cos you may not have the stopping power of all 6 pistons up front and the 2 in the rear. A sure compromise on safety... I also agree with Middle aged Biker that if i were to buy a BB and it has been delinked, its a sure no go for me. Like i said, its handicapped unless you upgrade to aftermarket callipers that will provide the needed bite on the rotors. Try as you may, without these callipers, braking distance will be hugely affected slowing down from a possible 250-280 kmph speed and surely can be scary if the rear locks up or maybe even the front. Like i said, this is my two cents.... safety should not be compromised for a lil added cost, and for bros like Zesture and JimmyZ, at least upgrades were done to their brake master cylinders thru the RCS 19 brembos..... The much needed addition in oil flow is much needed to cut down the time the pistons in the callipers take to bite the rotors.... But if you put all the costs of all these so called upgrades, Its also not very cheap.... Assume delinking costs $450 and a Brembo master cylinder costs $500-$550, a further upgraded aluminium reservoir another $90 bucks,,, thats already alot of money, with which a set of braided hoses could easily be fixed with no changes to the braking feature of the bike.... Like i say again, i may be wrong, but this is from my detailed knowledge of the Combined Braking System... Its another picture altogether is you have an ABS model..... Zac

Hahahha,,,i got my power bronze double bubble oredi but it only helps up to 220 kmph or so... i still cant push harder yet...
