tuono is a rare breed. btw, does Mah Motor sell the ENI oil 5W-40 recommended for the tuono?

i heard you can count the number of R1200R in spore by your ten fingers... or five? same also in msia ... very very few... plenty of R1200GS though

are u referring to hepco & becker boxes? if so, then u cant be wrong on the choice. i just placed order for the buffalo leather side bags, coming in 2 weeks time. cost me M$3k. in spore, dealer asking for S$1,300. for the hardboxes, junior 30, cost M$2k, so you can gues how much in S$. all these prices include the mounting brackets. the hard boxes are really strong and of good quality stuff.

i got short legs, so wear the boots to give me 1 inch lift. if only harleys cost as little as in spore, i would get one right now in KL...

finding a tacho for cruisers is bit hard in spore. there r 2 types, mechanical cable or electrical. get the electrical one, easier to install. i have not been successful in finding one in spore, but seen several mechanal types though. you can probably get it from usa via mail order. read the instructions and it should be diy easy.

try boonsiew. they still carry bits n pieces for steed & shadow. some parts are common between steed and shadow.

bikes n ppl are built the same, non-symmetric! ... so that u can tell the left from the right..

Steed and Shadow are similar. In some countries such as Singapore, it is sold as "Steed", whereas in others such as USA, they are sold as "Shadow". And they come in different sizes also. Shadow/Steed 400, 600, 750, 1100.

rules to follow when riding in msia (land of criminals, but toll free for bikes). 1) dont ride alone. 2) dont leave your bike out of your sight. 3) if u need to leave your bike, get someone to jaga. 4) if cannot find jaga, chain it down with ship's anchor. when i lived in spore, i forgot to lock my car door overnight. nothing happened.
