  1. I use tht Engine oil too. But wanted to ask lol, how far would u go with tht engine oil before u change it? ---> I hv no idea how far this oil could go on a small cc cupchai without an oil filter untill we hv to change the oil hmmm
  2. Owh. No matter how i told u, wont believe me. Wut i mean by " spraying the correct way" of course i follow all the correct step to lube the chain including leaving the lube to dry overnight. Still it fling lerr... and it cant lie... since my sportrim is white in colour...
  3. Not onli i follow the correct way to lube and correct amount, i even wipe the chain for any excessive lubrication. But still it fling aiyo....... the onli diffreance using non fling lube and 4t/ normal chain lube is,it fling "bit" lesser and it onli fling for few ride after application. Den it wont fling anymore untill u re-lube it...but still need to clean the rim after re-lube lol
  4. Aiyoo... wht happend to silkolene? not many use it?
  5. dunno bout u guys..... but dun u think wearing skirt while riding a bike is totaly not adviceable? hmmm
  6. Can any1 recomend me any chainlube tht " WONT FLING AT ALL" ?? . I've tried various NON FLING chainlube like silkolene titanium chain gel, white lithium grease, motorex and many more. But still produce flingg off which will make my white coloured sport rim look so dirty and oily.. isk isk isk... ---> The so called " NON- FLING OFF FORMULA"... izzit juzz a gimmick?
  7. WEll, logically, i think he say "no No' probably becoz wd40 contain petroleum . ANd every1 knows petrol could damage Paintwork. But, i think still ok lah. I guess, if u spray wd40 directly to the coverset, it will dmg the "clear spray" on the paintwork, resulting the paintwork to look less shiny. But unlike sportrim's paint work, dun think it contain any "clear spray" . SO "TO ME" it is competely safe to use wd40 on the rims. Beside, I already use wd40 for almost 2++ already, and my sportrim still look like new after cleaning it. p/s: I dunno wht the the specific name for "clear spray". But the purpose of tht spray is to make the paintwork look Shiny and new. SOme ppl called it 2k spray?
  8. I think , it is better to think how to reduce "fling off" of the chainlube to the rim tht makes it look so dirty and oily. But , for the rest of my life, neva encounter any trusted chain lube tht WILL NOT FLING AT ALL even it says on the bottle tht it is NON FLING chain lube. Including Silkolene titanium chain gel huh!...... haiz.. i wont believe any chainlube tht wont fling at all =_='' ---> heard sum1 mention about cleaning it with thinner? arent tht too harsh for the rim's paint work? ---> anyway, if u using 40wd to wash the rim, juzz make sure u wash the tyre afterwards. Afraid u might spill some of the 40wd on the surface of da tyre tht would make ur tyre slippery and dangerous. Neva heard any update from the thread starter. Does he sucessfully remove those dirt and grease from his bike's rim?
  9. Hm. How bout SIlkolene eh? juzz thoght wanna try Silkolene Pro 4 fully ester. But tried to search this product comment and feedback, but dint get any. As if not many ppl use silkolene huhu. WHt i get is mostly is feeback from ppl who hv use Motul only....so dunno wheather silkolene is as good as motul ( hoping it is better hehe )
  10. I usually use 40wd. The paint work still looked fine to me. Easier to clean hehe. I dun use degreaser cuz i "heard" degreaser can caused damage to rubber surface ( like tyre ). ---> Btw, why dun u try White lithium Grease or Silkolene Titanium Gel on your chain. They produce less ( or not at all ) fling off.
  11. Well not sure kiwi or what. But this 1 is not a luquid type shoe wax. Its look like a gel inside a small tin or somthing. Honetsly, i can tell tht his car look kinda shiny hehehe. But dunno if u compare it with a real paint wax though Btw, his car is black in colour...
  12. SInce already on this topic. wanted to ask.. ---> which 1 better? Turtle wax or Soft99 yah ? ( in terms of shine effect and durability to stand rainy weather ) ps : Btw, today i saw my neighbour wax his car with a shoe wax..... wanted to laugh but... dunno it is a wise thing or.. juzz wanted to save money. later ask him, and he said " Shoes wax giv more shine and last longer than any paint wax." DUnno it is true o not....
  13. Later ppl make a police report cuz too noisy hahaha. ---> Scooter? full throtle for a long distance lah hahahahaha
  14. I am thinking about switching my EO .Currently using Castrol pwoer 1 racing. SInce i hv some doubt about castrol is pAO synthetic or Juzz hydrocracked. ---> Which 1 better eh? Onli could think of Esso Gold, Mobil1 Racing or idemitsu. Hmmmm.. im a fully synthetic PAO lover hohoho... but dunno wht brand is better... ( but cheaper den motul @ Silkolene lol )
  15. Mayb u shpuld take a look at dis? taken from This site also... pinned section one... Ride it, don't tickle it Engines are built with a particular duty cycle in mind. Lawnmowers are designed to run at one speed all day, but bike engines aren't. They're designed to rev (crusiers excepted). So you won't do your GSX-R any favours if you never take it above 6000rpm. Dave: "Engines last better if you use them fairly hard, and especially if you rev them throught the gears (not redlining, just letting them spin) instead of short shifting. It keep them clean and healthy. There's more damage done by people who sit at 60 all day than by lads doing track days." Watch out on down changes, though, change too early and you could over-rev the engine, bending valves in the process. Any connection? . i dun think this "blowing soot" is totaly myth lah. Beside, already told my experiance in my earlier post.... althought this method is not 100% effective. But stil can see da diffrance. Especially 2 stoker which produce lots of carbon built up...
  16. EH how do u know? i mean bout castrol fully synthetic is Hydrocrack not POA?. ---> And.. how about Castrol Power1 Racing FUllsynthetic? Hydrocracked too?? wanted to ask this directly to castrol "ppl". BUT, they dun provide any email adrres for any feedback and enquiry huhu......
  17. Im more interested in DIY metrod ( no 2 ) . Neva eva see tht kind of product since i was born. ----> Wormz. i think ha, no need to rev low gears and whack ur engine kaw kaw lol. Later ur engine might b clean, but end up with a severe damage. AS i told u be4 in earlier post bout my friend "experiment", he juzz hit da express way, and cruising in a speed not below 95 -110 kmh for a couple of day. ANd check bak da engine... cant say its totaly shiny, but cleaner den be4...
  18. WOw.. thts one good exmple . ---> Btw, hv any1 of u eva wonder diffren brand of petrol produce diffren amount of carbon @ residue? . Juzz wondering... this petrol said, hv superier cleaning property.. bla bla, tht petrol hv techron keep ur engine clean bla bla. Haha.. untill dunno if they are tellin da truth of juzz gimmick...
  19. 100% CoRReCT!!!!!. Service ur engine does not necessary means u 'overhaul' the whole thing. There are some service provided in workshhop . Dey will open ur engine and clean it 4 u. Piston, head, etc etc. Untill become shiny hahahaha.... But unlike 4 stroke, i usually found tht they dun full clean thier engine like 2 stroke. The most they done is juzz clean and polish head and grind valve every few years ( or when thier bikes performance drop ).
  20. i onli know abit from some sifu. He got 2 stroke bike. He said the the same thing. Speeding cam burn some carbon. He tried examinate his spark plug. He city ride the bike 2 weeks. He found out his sprk plug full of carbon. Then later he whack his bike kaw kaw 100kmh... few days. And check bak, the plug is 75% cleaner. The plug almost had no carbon at all. Juzz the spark plug is in dark rusty coloured. he sumtimes operate his engine . By whacking ur bike once in a time ( and use synthetic 2t ), ur engine would b less dirtier. And u could servis the engine ( clean the carbon ) much less often. 4 stroke bikes, produce less carbon. hence whacking the bike once in a while is almost enogh to make sure the engine is healthy and clean. For better cleanlines, use synthetic EO also. Even IF somehow ur 4t bikes need to clean away the carbon, usually onli need to clean the valve area and head area. And if i remmber correctly my guru said, the carbon is produce inside the combustion chamber. and in a long run, the carbon will fill other places like plugs, valve, exhaust, head, block. And as time goes by, "whacking" method wont b enogh to clean ur engine ( usually 2 stroker ), and u might need to clean the internal engine "manualy by hand" . Correct me if im wrong. Juzz sharing sum info Tq
  21. i think i've read it be4. But if i hv a good memory, any X or O ring is not suitable to b wash with any chemical contain petroleum. but my chain is non O ring. Regular chain i guess... And if i still remmber it correctly, Its ppl who use wd40 as a chain lubricant tht reli spoil their chain. Not using it as chain washer . SO mayb, juzz hv to make sure after cleaning da chain with wd40, rinse it with sumthing ( mayb water? ) to washed away the wd40 along with da dirty element... . Well thts my opinon though. Dunno its adviceable o not . ( but if im not mistaken, i've read in 1 topic here, 1 way to clean da chain is using 40wd. Tht is where i got this idea of cleaning da chain with wd40... ) Well, any other opinoin on this are welcome. Im not a pro hik hik...
  22. SUmtimes i do tht too... but not in red light, but when doing super U turn with super high speed hahahaha...( aiyah no wonder my right shoe worn out faster )
  23. Well at least we share 1 opinion in common bout vpower hahaha. Sum ppl dun believe me though. SUmtimes my bro will borrow my bike. And i could tell when he pump vpower on my bike without him telling so. And when i asked him, i was rite. Still say its psycology? aiyo... if onli i hv dyno mechine to prove it ( if i know how to use dyno mechine though hahaha )
  24. Most of singaporians who come down to Jb pump petronas said the same thing about "throtle response" . I think its true then. But how can u tell tht the burning is not so clean? Btw, som ppl said " petrol are petrol, any difrrance in performance is becoz in ur head ". I dunno bout tht. SOme reason, my bike dun accelerate well if pumping esso, mobil or caltex. Mayb my bike luv Shell and petronas i guess...
  25. Or u could use my method. Use 40wd. Juzz spray on the chain. Leave it few minutes. And wipe it with dry clothe. SImple and easy. But u may need plenty of dry cloth haahaha. the clthe will get very very very oily and dirty. ( THis method is best for super lazy ass like me hahaha, very lazy to disaemble the chain, spoket and put it in a bucket of petrol/kerosine.
