  1. Hi Guys, I need your advise. I want to protect my paint against scratches. I saw transparent film protection could do the trick. I did the protection of the right part of the belly pan on my bike because there was a dent. It took 5 minutes a transparent sticker and cost SGD 50. I ask how much would cost the top only of the tank and the seat coil. It cost SGD 180 at Juzzwheels and SGD 300 at Cool N light. I need to inform that Cool N Light use an auto repair type of product, which make the protection virtually infinite. Anyway, my point and question is that I find that extremely expensive for applying a transparent plastic film probably in less than an hour. The industrial material itself cannot be that expensive. In the end it seems a better deal to do nothing and just have a respray after a couple of year. Does anybody has a shop address with reasonable price? Thanks, Viv
  2. Hi Guys, Thanks you very much for all your input, I learnt quite a lot. Finally I may indeed just stick to non Vtec. Anyway, it's just temporary until next January, where I intend to upgrade to class 2. Thanks Folks! V'
  3. In fact, I don't mind the secure key, light, shocks, smaller tires, I would just like to know if possible and what would be the cost. The engine block is the same and when comparing with Vtec (right side), it doesn't seem to much spare parts to change. Any one has an idea?
  4. Hi, I wish you were right, but the CB400 L is a non Vtec version. I was myself fooled by the vendor (Pang's motor on west coast). I happen to learn that L version is a basic version of SF. I also comes with normal shock absorber (not the showa with Gas), no secure key, smaller light, and a few other stuff. The engine is the same as Vtec 2, but without Vtec. I hope this explains.
  5. Hi, Anyone there who can tell me if it's possible to transform a CB400L from 2004 into a Vtec version? If possible where and what would be the cost? Thanks.
  6. Hi Alan, Just read your ad. Do you have any pictures of the X9? If so, send them to Vivian.quenet@vizada.com as I'm not connecting to SBF every day. Thanks, Vivian
  7. Hi, Thanks for information. I wasn't aware of this new product. I currently have an X9 in France (I'm expat here). Design: Although I still prefer the X9 design I think this one is much nicer than the X9 which I definitly don't like. From what I can see, it looks a bit like the T-max 125 (not sure if this one exist in Singapore) It looks like a compromise of the light and cruising scooter and seems adapted to city + Suburb. Engine: It's a pity it doesn't exist in 200cc. 125cc is a bit weak for 160kg (I know it from my X9) and 250cc requires class 2A licence. Brakes: Why don't they put as standard the X9 braking system which is fantastic. Wheels: Size is perfect for a scooter. Not too big to allow easy manouver in the city but big enough for stability in curves. I hope this helps you top market the product. Let me know where you are located as I'm currently looking for X9 200 with less than 20 000km. Do you have that in stock? Cheers Vivian
