I think the temperature in a bike cannot be compared to difference in weather temperature. Night temperature in singapore is about 25 degree celsius, however, air temperature in a hot bike can go up to a few hundreds degree celsius. So when he say the air is less dense when the bike is hot so that the fuel to air ratio has become inaccurate, he means comparing between the normal temperature of 25 degree celsius to that few hundred degree? Cause I know when my bike's heat reaches 90% and it die off in the middle of the road, it is very difficult to start again, I think its cause the air inside is so hot that its density is so low that it can't ignite properly with the fuel. We all learn in Sec 2 that less dense means less particles in the same volume compared to one which is dense of the same volume. So the same volume of air is being sucked in, but that volume of air contains very little particles of oxygen as air expands the most amongst all other states of matter, resulting in my fuel not as many oxygen particles to burn as before, so cannot start as easily when hot....

Did u take out the bulb and check whether the bulb has low beem wire fused? My guess is, the low beam on the bulb is not fuse, but the switch connector is faulty (common problem for hurricane and fireblade, My fren changed 3 times before but still the same). If u switch the high low beam to high all the way, then u can still use it but it is high beam. I have been using H4 diamond vision, no such problem. Did u have the water proof cover on? The rubber cost $8 each from Honda Distributor. If u have pole light on the bike, u can tap the wire from pole light to headlight, then u will have your low beam back. But everytime ur pole light is on, ur low beam is also on.

Pardon me but I don't get why is it bad for fuel consumption when your brakes are lousy? Anyway, prankster already figured one of the problem might be with brake disc, so he would have to change the brake disc. To Prankster: Only problem is if your brake disc is spoil and you are using a new brake pad, you will spoil the brake pad. But since you r changing brake caliper or brake disc, might as well change brake pad... since its all opened up and brake pad is the cheapest of all brake problems (as mentioned in detail above). Ya and its better to check out all possible brake problem if you are unsure what is causing the problem. An unsolved problem inevidebly leads to a faster wear and tear of other parts and you discover u have to change something you just changed again... To check if your brake disc needs changing, touch along your brake disc, it should be one smooth surface, if you feel trenches and humps (up and down), it means that your brake disc has uneven wear off. I even came across one case during one of my readings when the brake disc had undergo a form of warping and though it was mild, it is pretty devasting to safety. Warping happens to metal which have a certain thickness, and the thickness of the metal has millimeters errors in the thickness. Then when this piece of metal is exposed to high heat, it expands and then contracts unevenly and it warps. Meaning it bends ever so sightly. This means that the brake caliper is extremely close to one part of the disc and extremely far on the other. So f your brake disc had worn off unevenly with humps and trenches, its thickness is very much different too, so warping may occur... But warping is a rare case... Mostly in winter countries where heating of brake disc and its cooling is of extreme differences. But do be careful if your brake disc heats up a lot due to other problems, and if it happens to rain halfway through the journey, your brake disc is expanding and contracting differently. So its better to change ASAP whatever brake problems you encounter... O and to know if your brake caliper is spoil... you may experience some kind of jumping feeling when you press your brake. Like for one moment it connects, the next it skips out again kind of feeling... Hopes this helps... Sorry my bike knowlegde is not extensive n wide...

if your brake disc is very hot after a ride, meaning it keeps rubbing although u never press brake, then thats the problem. If u go long and fast enuf, your disc will even glow red hot according to my mechanic. Careful when u touch to see whether its hot. another way to check is to see whether the disc is black color. If it is, then it is a symptom of brake caliper jam. The brake pump (the spring and rubber which compressed where the hand brake lever are at the front) or the rear foot there (similar rubber and spring) may be at fault too if any of your brake caliper jam. If the disc is too worn off, change them.

Bike not worth it to pump in JB la...they increase petrol price already. Now Shell 95 abt $1.502 per liter. Their Vpower is $2.15rm, and super is $1.91rm. Their Vpower is our Shell98, their Super is our shell 95. So u save only a mere 50 cent per liter. Not worth the risk of robbery and effort and passport chop. IMagine passport chop finish need to pay $ to renew and change new one, after calculating, I can earn more money working during that time. Saving of 10 liters per treat takes 1 hour only earn $5. My salary is $35 per hour lei...so not worth it. I rather sleep.
