I have check the TPS and it show 15 to 100 so i presumed that its in good condition as for the ticking sound,i also agree with you that its the belt tensioner maybe be faulty but the ticking sound start when the bike is hot after some travelling and sometimes it can be loud and sometimes soft,the ticking sound comes from the LHS of the bike while the tensioner is at the right,well its ok i will check it out and get the answers,thanks anyway.

Well i have been riding very normal in SG and my idling speed stays at 1000 to 1100,anyway thanks for the link well i hope to get some tips from there.

Hi everyone,i got some problem which i hope you guys could solve for me.Its regarding my fuel consumption,i am riding Fz6s for about 1 year and usually my fuel consumption is about 315km for full tank before reserve,but recently i notice a drop by 305km before reserve but now its has been dropping to 280km.Recently i fix up scottoiler and this happened,is it any concern?There is a ticking sound which not so constant could be heard,at 1st i tot its the valve or the tensioner but its not,so i wonder any of you guys have experiences on this.Kindly advise and HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

I got this problem of high consumption of fuel which reach abt 270+km only before i clean up my auto choke the mileage is abt 320km now drop drastically by 50km that is very cha la any advice on this? Any place to recommend for tuning up my FI and issit true that i must use PC3 before i can tune my FI?

just press the 2 button together on ur screen then select the the thing that u wanna to check for the auto choke valve u will have to bring to shop for checking or if u feel same problem like me when the bike feels like no fuel comin when u throttle or when ur auto choke goes down slowly and ur bike is slow on warming up which takes abt 10 or more mins then that is the sympton of the problem liao

well have found out the problem its the auto choke solenoid valve problem,anyway the tps got nothing to do with it and u can manually check it in ur electronic screen,abt the air and fuel line got no problem oso.FYI pls check ur auto choke every 1 to 2 years for choke or solenoid problem.

go K&T at UBI think cost abt $90 ,fix mine at a few shop away anyway part of it diy myself for the steering cone BTW anyone know wat cos the bike engine die off during travelling but in the morning is ok then in the evening the problem comes back,after which the idiling is very low to 600-800 rpm issit becos of the tps or something else.

As for the noise thing wat kinda noise is tat?something like knocking sound or something else pls describe clearly.

Is it u pump your fuel to the top of the fuel tank?if yes then i advice u dun fill it to the top but only just the brim of the fuel tank.

its the same as u guys fz6 04 model and the tyre is original comes together with the bike and frankly i think its not from the tyre but from the engine leh quite ki kwai maybe i try to find out myself after i done with the servicing.

when i was going at 5th to 6th gear at a travelling speed of 70km/hr the sound start to wolf like a howling of a wolf which i think my bike is like a the old timer waterwolf heee.........well if any of u encounter this problem pls highlight but i think its quite a small problem cos does not affect anything just that the sound is irritating thats all....
