  1. and when? my last coil episode nearly made me give the R1 and 07 6RR some seriuos consideration but the blade's looks and handling is still unmatched
  2. so, they found the fault on the coils huh, isn't that what we've been saying all along? i wonder what their next action will be...
  3. that's true... My voltmeter has already paid for itself...
  4. Tonight GP Esso at 8PM Those selling ur bikes - get more out of it. ride before u sell it Those not selling - good! ride some more Those who dont like their tyres - more reason to ride, wear those tyres out Those who switched to cars - bring it (its not the ride, its who u ride with) Come out ... 1. ismail 2. rommel 3. chilly 4. dr. evil 5.
  5. hock the V-meter takes reading and backlighting from the bike's batt the 3A batt is to power the 2 thermo...to switch between display modes Temp, in/out Temp in/volt Temp out/volt
  6. Guys additional info meant as onboard unit for cars, this unit has 2 thermometer powered by 3A batt 1st thermo is in the body itself - it reads 0 dec C to 50 deg C (inside temp) 2nd thermo is connected to a pair of cable with sensor at the end -50deg C to 70deg C (outside temp) no, we can't use it to monitor engine temp. the Volt meter cable by default connects to the ciggy lighter (need to cut-off) Connection: Eldo - I've connected the voltmeter to the forever-ON lowbeam headlight instead of the pilot light less hassle, same effect. doing so, i was able to avoid splicing the existing wires. The temp sensor cables was rolled and tuck behind the pilot light (including the sensor, dont need it) Waterproofing: I've not done any sealant work, rode it through the rain many times, yet it still works. i keep it covered at the carpark though. Theft: I'm a bit paranoid of the damage a thief might make if someone would steal it. Tashi's bright idea... solve the water and theft issue... Cable Connectors: to connect and disconnect anytime. Found a 2 cable connectors (for less than 2bucks?) at Sim Lim Tower, Mounting: use velcro to mount it on/off anytime... instead of double sided tape Its makes it easier for a thief who knows what to look for... but at least, a clean slice wont damage a bike Perhaps we can do this DIY project together

  16. Shark Chinggu Achye i collected the voltmeter from eldo (thanks bro) green back light black body, looks nice below the blades digital panel (did a trial fit-up this morning) double sided tape should hold it in place meant for inside the cabin (car) it comes with 2 thermometer in/out water protection needs improvement... clear silicone sealant should do the trick will post a photo when it fixed
