  1. hi guys, read thru last few pages, seems like Rudy (Rudyra Aesthetics) is highly recommended. Care to PM me his contact? TIA
  2. another noob question from me... who is the distributor for SYM in singapore?
  3. no special preference on which to get (gts or evo), as long as it will serve my purpose of commuting from A to B on mon-fri only. oh ya, i too dont like the flat standboard.
  4. ic.. thanks.
  5. getting gts200 after cny.
  6. thanks alot bro!
  7. just a noob question, ah chew is from which shop?
  8. is the meetup still on? i'm interested to join as i intend to get a scooter to replace my coe ending bike. hope able to test ride your rides.
  9. ytd asked ban hon (amk), the otr is gts200 ($6.4k) & pcx ($7.0k). price does not incl box & other freebies. btw, anyone knows which shop does take cc for the bike, not instalment but full payment with cc? quite tempting to earn the cc points.
  10. hello.. thanks for sharing. i just called asphoon(sgoon), quoted 6.8k excl tpft insurance. never ask abt foc freebies though. i will most likely get one after cny due to my current busy schedule.
  11. in HCM alone, estimated to have 4mil bikes on the roads. most of the ppl in HCM has 2 bikes, with honda as their weekend rides (more expensive and luxury to them). i like their way of using horns, not like us here horning to 'scold' others on the road. also it is quite intimidating to cross the road seeing a steady stream of bikes coming to your path. but not to worry, they will 'siam' u!
  12. planning is important. plan what you want to achieve during TFCD, which will also leads to execution, how to place the lightings, ratios of main to the secondary lights. best is to start with models who doesnt know how to pose. this will ensure the photographer will be able to have the say on the pose. why? cos many photogs dont know how to pose their models. thumbs up to all of you and good luck on future shoots.
  13. thanks to all for your inputs. i think the difference between both models is in the range of $1k+, which is why they ended up as my options. good to know there are some good recommendations on gts.
  14. hi guys, i have narrowed down my options to either SYM GTS200/200iEvo or Honda PCX due to COE ending soon, thus need your valuable inputs related to GTS. my ride will be for commuting between home and work and occasional weekend rides. currently on phantom TA200, which i diligently change EO monthly. throughout the years, i had changed the dead batts twice, apart from the tyres/chain - which i think is really-really low maintenance & high in reliability. 1) how is the reliability of GTS? 2) maintenance? 3) spare parts availability and cost? 4) any other negs experience that you had? TIA!
  15. seldom come online here... but want to share some of the urbexes (urban explorations) i did quite sometime ago, which includes istana woodneuk, old changi hospital & hotel mitre. link as below: Istana Woodneuk Old Changi Hospital Mitre Hotel
  16. wah.. my last login was 31Jan2010! and this thread is still going strong....
  17. i see, anyway one should not always hate high iso nor love them, but just be a good friend with them will do. they will come handy when lighting is against you.
  18. u shooting as a freelance or for BS?
  19. i dont get it.... unless i read it wrongly. u meant a dslr cannot have high ISO capability?
  20. i believe u r refering to printing of photos. 20c is considered as very cheap already. i guess the printing shop is using Konica equipment. depending of your requirements, some shops never do basic colour adjustments - they just load the digital images and the rest of the job is automated with no adjustment done. imagine like they will just load images & just press the print button only. so it seems to me is 'what u shoot is what u gonna get in print' for a cheap price.
  21. it has been so long i never post here... anyway, i just created a Fotolightbox Photography Fan Page in Facebook after many years into shooting AD. do drop by... http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fotolightbox-Photography/200167915476?ref=nf
  22. black card is not for metering, but it is normally used when shooting long exposures, eg fireworks. when u want to capture nice long trails of lights, u expose the sensors. when u dont want to capture the scene during while in bulb mode, u use a black card to shield the sensor, thus no light will fall onto the sensor. u can always ask our dear friend, google, for answers. he is very helpful.... lol.
  23. hahaha... yeah, a rider who like everyone else hates raining days... lol.
  24. to add in to the list above: - lowest ISO - black card - luck (wind condition & direction, timing of your shot... etc) btw, u die die need a remote, else u will notice camera shake, ending up the fw trails looks like sperms... lol.
  25. eh.. u also here!!! heheheh... anyway, good to see u here too.
