  1. bro, don mind telling how much u paid on the road? you did trade in?
  2. Yes, run in less than 7k rpm till your first oil change at ard 800 to 1000k . U can pick up speed after that gradually. Take note. Poor run in can cause uneven wearing of engine parts that can affect engine performance and fc . I did not run in my super 4 previously and I always at fc lower than my friends .
  3. Inside the exhaust pipe.
  4. I was told by a bike mechanic that the reason why the GTS exhaust always crack is due to heat fatigue coupled with vibration. He advised me to spray oil into the exhaust once in a while. the oil will help to bring down the temp of the exhaust thus prevent the material from failing . Even though what he said made a bit of sense, not sure if it might cause any other problem from spraying oil into the exhaust. i don wanna solve one problem to create another. any inputs for our bros from this thread?
  5. original Oil that comes with this bike is mineral type. We can use it till the first oil change and subsequently upgrade to semi-sythethetic type.(personal preference). Semi synth gives better lubn between moving parts as it is thinner( it can penetrate between tight fitted engine parts) Mineral - thicker , provides better heat control due to its thickness characteristics. Cons: might not be able to penetrate between tightly fitted moving parts especially in new engines. idleally it is what u want. Personal choice in the end.
  6. I did noticed something similar to what was mentioned earlier in the thread regarding the idle of the bike. Each time i start the bike when cold, idle is at 1200. sometimes, i can feel that it is very unstable like wanna stall but doesn't. After 1 min of warming, idle stabilizes to 1900rpm. I have done lots of diy self tuning for my other bikes before and for all those who have similar problems, my advice is, bear with it. During the run-in period for the bike, the bike''s power and idling will be unstable. it is no point tuning the bike at this point in time. after run-in period, the engine will be more stable and this is when u can start tuning up the air/fuel mixture and idling.
  7. Hi, guys. have been reading this thread for a while and find some of the info here very useful. Just wanted to contribute some myself. Bought a new GTS200 silver last week. $6800 on the road. Shop: Soon Hin Motors Clocked about 300Km for now. Very good , smooth and quiet bike. was riding X9 250cc Previously. So far i find this bike a very good ride.
