  1. Hi Razin. Saw your bike up close n personal too. Why is your tankbra torn? Hehe. Didnt get to meet u though. I suppose u r already watchin the race then. I only went in just b4 the 250cc race ended. Great experience. First time attendin a live GP motor race. Always saw it on tv but this time real. My ears are still ringin. Them engines super loud. I also attended the qualifying rounds on Sat. Some of the bikes engines has a real weird sound when they r movin off from the pits. Impressive.
  2. Hello Hehehe. Its the 'eee...' sound issue again. Never fails to bug the hell out of new busa riders. Mine is a 05 model too. When u switch on the ignition, you'll hear this 'system initializing hweeee...' sound where u see all the needles doin their sweep across the face of the dials. Start the engine n theres still this slightly audible 'eeee'. Its perfectly normal. In fact it sounds sweet to me. And congrats to u n glen too. A bike u would enjoy much it is.
  3. Hi Haya^Busa n Bugsy Yes. Sorry for confusion. Just my way of sayin front sprocket. Thought that piece was a clutch cover since thats where the clutch pump is situated. My bad.
  4. Hi Bugsy dude. Good evenin. What are u confused about?
  5. Hi Kelvin... Long time indeed after met just once at Taman S11. Hope yer Busa good health n powerful! Done my servincin. Chosed Castrol semi-syn. 15w40(whatever that means). Try this out first n see how it blends with my Busa engine. After some 3000km, shall go full fledge syn. Also took out clutch cover to clear away accumulated grease/road grime around the 17T area. Saw someone postin about this way many pages back. Made it a point to get that done.
  6. Well i only chalk up around the region of 1000km per month. Under utilised maybe. Foreign forums has tons of info but that also leads to info overload. I read stuffs about full syn causin clutch slips and such. Wonder if theres concerns like this here? Perhaps better to emualate the styles n preferences of local riders. Most likely headin down to Suzuki workshop for servicin come mornin if weather permits.
  7. Semi only last 3000km? I dont mind changin my oil often if need too. I would try to give best possible care to it. Perhaps i should start with semi than maybe later as time goes by go one grade up to full. I dont know if i'm gettin a grip on this concept correctly though. Thanks dude.
  8. Hi all.... Hi Kata Care to add pointers n advice on things to check for a 5000km servicing? Departin from mineral oil now as run in should be complete by now. Should i go full syn or just semi? Plan to change ze oil filter too so which calls for 3.5l of new 'blood' for the engine.
  9. Hi LMF Nice to hear from u. Hows your Busa gettin along? Yes, i guess i could do just that. Apply a good protective layer of wax. It also kind of set my mind to rest hearin from u experienced people that the paintwork stays fine despite a tankbra fitted on it.
  10. Oh Razin... Actually what i meant by 'north' is going into Malaysia. Sorry. I had plans with my colleagues to go see the Moto GP race at Sepang. It could be an overnight trip so i am making preparations like settin up a tankbra/bag combo. The last time I went up north to Malacca, i was carryin a haversack on my back. My friend chided me as that wasnt a good practice in high speed long distant ridin. It would end up actin like a parachute n it would be pretty strainious on my back.
  11. Oh, i chosed a full bra mainly because i could also attach a tankbag(Bagster) on it whenever i get a chance to go up north. In fact i have half a mind to use a tankbag locally too when i commute to work.
  12. Hi Razin... Hey your half bra looks good too. What brand is it? Mine is of the full bra type. Yes, there's this layer of sponge like material underneath but its the stiches at the seams where the different parts r sewn togehter that worries me.
  13. Hi N.A. and all Inspired partly by your pic, I bought my Busa a black Bagster tankbra just like yours. Fit it on and it really looks good. Really pleased with it. I just had it removed after a week respondin to advices from a friend that it could scratch up the paintwork of the fuel tank. How true is that? I would like to have it on at all times n now it kind of look nude without it. Any comments from bra-fitted Busa guys here? Guess i'll put it on only when i make trips up north with a tank bag(Not bought yet. No $$) attached to it. Do u have the tankbra fitted at all times? Any worries of adverse effects it might have on the tank paintwork n what sort preventive measures u apply? By the way, do u use any special products to preserve the texture n condition of the bra?
  14. Hi Mito Motoworld has it? Got to go check it out soon since u said its the last set. Thanks dude.
  15. Hi N.A.... Yeah, u do have a point there dude. If such product remains elusive n beyond grasp, then i should abandon the idea altogether.
  16. Hi all n evenin.... Just a little fun n games..... Flashgame
  17. Hi Razin Yeah, me too has come across just a couple of sites dealin with CF parts for Busa. But not seen one that carries these inner fairing panels. Only from ebay. Sigh. US gets all the fun.
  18. Wow. these rotors r awesome. Love the right one. But wonder about its brakin capabilities.
  19. Well, what can i say? I love the model of this bike.
  20. Hi evenin ppl http://www.hayabusa.org/iB_html/uploads/post-6-07199-busa_cockpit.jpg I got this pic off the hayabusa.org site and it got me excited. Carbon fibre inner fairing panels. I would love to have such a cosmetic mod on me Busa and was wonderin if anyone here has done this or know of any local dealers that sells this products? Last i surf the net, i found it in some US ebay biddin site such as here. ebay motors I know nuts about this biddin business n besides they aint shippin nowhere other than the States itself. And there aint no option to buy direct too.
  21. Awesome impressive powerful dragblack Busa. Checkout the stretched rear hump dude. Reminds me of the Alien cranium.
  22. Hmm.... From the looks of it, i do like the new mirror cum signal setup. However it seems the front fender n rear hump has lost its original beauty. Me thinks n would prefer the current form.
  23. Hi dude. I believe i get an idea roughly of what u explained about them groundin wires. However it is, it sounds pretty good to have one on me Busa.
  24. Hi kata killer As i see from your signature column, the impressive arrays of mods and upgrades u have done on your Busa, i am interested in that Extreme Grounding wires & XCS Volt Stabilizer. Are these add-ons there to ensure the bike's battery stays in proper condition? How do they work? I dont fully understand how the battery works but if i'm not wrong, the battery recharges itself with the help of a device(unsure of what its called) only when the bike is runnin. I even read from some forum that it will do so only when the rpm hits like 3500 n above. How true is that? Sometimes i dont use my bike for about 2-3 days due to bad weather. Longer if i go abroad like a week. I'm wonderin just how long can it remain unstarted before the battery weakens?
  25. Hello all What u guys think of this?
