Dear Bros and bike enthusiast , i have a 1994 Aprilia RS 250 bike that was laid up for a short while ,

 

i decided to renew the bike coe in 2014 when i noticed the swift rise in PQP month on month , and its now revalidated PQP to 2024 .

 

The aprilia has now undergone major retrofit , service , and new paint work complete with LTA inspection and new road tax to put it on the road again . Everything back to its original condition !

 

I have many callers expressing interest to buy , but when questioned on what prices they were willing to offer ?

All went silent .....

 

Can you give me an indication of how a bike in this tiptop serviceable condition with 9 years of new PQP is now considered a fair price ?

 

I trust your opinion in your opinion on its selling price as one being justifiable to all .

 

As Seller , most would want their selling prices to be at its peak and as buyer , to want its prices at its lowest , so what is a best and just price then ?

I'm actually looking for an RS250 as well. But if you ask me what a good price for a rebuilt RS250 is, I would say around 10-12k. Dependent on the condition. I once asked someone who was willing to sell a mint condition rs250, it was going at 12k. Hope this helps. :)

Ask the shops how much they are taking it in. Check around if there's any similar bike sold by shops. Then I will offer somewhere in between these two prices. Win win situation for direct buyer and seller.

Price so good? I was going to scrap mine due to the BLOODY high COE. Mine due next month. How much u selling?

SW-T400 (till oct 13): voltmeter, safety features disabled. coocase v36+remote. Adjustable, folding Brake levers. Givi AF318 windshield. on-off switch(pilot light, head light, hazard light), electrical seat unlatch,Dr pulley.

AN400K6 (apr07-dec11): side deflectors, J Costa variator, Dr pulley slider + HiT clutch.

YP250, RVF400/RS250, NSF125.

The price actually depends on the COE and condition luh. If it's really mint then yes, high price. If not, then as good as a really old bike.

Come to think of it wat plate is ur RS? I have only seen FM plate which is registered in the 1995s.

Let's be honest, these bikes carry little value. They will be "collectors items" in about 20 years assuming they are all original.

The value is the COE plus some to cover your costs, hardly all of them.

Besides that motorcycle enthusiasts can buy on emotion. If you find someone looking for THAT bike you may get a bit more..
