Hi everyone! I am new here, nice to meet you guys! :)

I just have a question on the maintenance of the bike! I just recently pass my 2B and got myself a second hand V1 R15. This bike has IMO based on my research, outlook and judging from the owner maintenance log book that it is in quite a good condition? However, I was just worried that it wasn't enough? The owner just asked me to follow whats in the log book and I felt, is there more I can do to make sure the bike stays in a better condition?

Basically, the only thing i was told to change every certain XXXX mileage was just:

- Engine oil Change

- Oil Filter Change

- Air Filter Change

- Spark Plug Change

Tires and breaks of course is like if it is bare it should be change.

Is there anything else I should be noting?

Here is a snapshot of his log that he kept. There are other things that was changed but I can't understand.

Thank you guys for taking your time to read & reply. :) Much Appreciated!

i dont know what is the service interval of your bike.

but every time you change engine oil, oil filter & spark plug, do ensure to ask mechanic to check your

sprocket and chain tension

brake pad

tire

for suspension, fork, cone bearing, wheelbearing, brake fluid, coolant, fuel filter, battery, etc this one every 10k you can ask them to fully check and advise you, if necessary to replace.

if 10k is too long for you

you might want to reduce it to 5k interval to fully check your bike

get a trusted mechanic or service shop if not probably kena slaughter

oh do check your tyre pressure is correct at least 2 weeks once

for daily own check before riding away while warming up the bike

horn, headlight, signal light, tail light, brake light and brake

ride defensively, always
