Hello interested buyer!

Thank you for taking the time out to look at what i have to offer. I am looking for a new owner (not urgent!) who can take care of my Super Tenere as well as, or even better than, I do. I have been riding this bike for the past 18 months and I am pleased at its overall capability. And if you must know, I am the second owner. The first owner upgraded to a Honda Goldwing, and I am also intending to try a new Sport-Tourer, maybe the Honda ST1300 or Yamaha FJR 1300. So I'll say again, I'm not in a hurry to sell my bike, so I will wait patiently for the person with the right price to come along. Read on for my personal experience about this bike!

This is an adventure-touring bike for seasoned, or aspiring riders, who yearn for a bike with off-road capabilities yet fully furnished with touring essentials. However, I have never rode it off-road or on race track but it has brought me to many places, like Krabi and Hatyai in Thailand for Songkran, Genting, Fraser's Hill, Malacca, Desaru and Sungai Lembing in Malaysia.

As it is my first Class 2 bike, I am very religious in maintaining it in good working condition. This bike is very reliable and has never given me any problems at all. Its Fuel Economy on average is approximately 20km/L at 90km/h (28++km/L if you draft or slipstream a car!) I normally do that as I am quite a relaxed rider and its also good for my fuel economy and wallet! A Super Tenere's full tank is 23 litres inclusive of 4 liters reserve (Total range is about 320+km before reserve and 400+km till flat, happened once when I was going into JB to refuel!)

Outlook: 8/10

-Hairline scratches on fuel tank, unnoticeable unless looked at closely

-Scratches on crash bar due to stationary drops

Engine: 9/10 (Religiously maintained, view to believe)

Maintenance:

Bike waxed and washed every 2 weeks when I refuel in Malaysia

Always under shelter or bike cover (if parked out in the sun)

I refuel every weekend in Malaysia using Shell V-Power

Tyres pumped every time when I refuel, approximately once a week (Front 33 PSI and Rear 39 PSI)

Engine Oil, Oil Filter changed every 5,000km

Spark Plug, Gear Oil, Air Filter changed every 10,000km

I've kept all my servicing receipts from HKL Racing (at Queensway), I will also recommend you to look for "Ah Chiang" the mechanic, as i always get him to service my bike, thus he will know it best.

Accessories:

-Tall wind shield (will give stock Yamaha wind shield too)

-Remus exhaust (Official LTA Cert will be given)

-Bigger base for side stand

-Stock brake and clutch lever (will give shorter aftermarket levers too)

-Ohlins rear suspension (worth about $2,000)

-Washable KNN air filter

-Wire Mesh head light protector

-Hepco and Becker universal top box rack (will give stock Yamaha rack too)

-Hepco and Becker Junior Top Box (might be keeping the box)

-Touratech Zega Pro Side Panniers (worth about $2,000 with some dents from careless bumps)

-2 x Front Blinker Lights (blue)

-2 x Spotlights

-2 x Fog lights

-2 x Hella Black Twin Tone (will give 1 spare(used) working Red Hella Super Tone too)

-Hepco and Becker crash bars (slightly scratched due to stationary drops, able to provide video when viewing)

-Motorcycle alarm with remote control (Alarm is activated by sensing knocks on bike)

-Bike video recorder with Gyrometer and GPS (front and rear, I will also teach you how to use the program to watch the videos and view the G-Force data and GPS)

To be given:

-Stock Wind Shield

-Stock Top Box Rack

-A few spare wheel spokes

-One new Oil Filter

-Stock Tool Kit

-Bike Manual

-4 x used (but still usable) spark plugs, for spares during road trips
