errmmmm....what is a single seater motorcycle?

Any motorcycle that has only one seat, no passenger seat and registered with LTA as single seat. I think.

Can a single seater motorcycle be changed to 2 seater? Is it allowed by LTA?

I think thst should be base on the register bike "Passenger Capacity" is One or Zero. Same question that if register bike is "Passenger Capacity is 01" so the 02 seater can change to 01 (rider itself only). But for more info can check with LTA. :)

Modification of "seating arrangement" is under the category of requiring LTA approval.

However, the following quoted guideline is not clear for motorcycles.

Seating arrangements (e.g. Adding or removing seats, re-arranging seats, etc.)

Modifying the seating arrangements may have safety implications such as overloading and obstruction of access to the gangway. Therefore, approval must be sought from LTA and submission of drawings or sketches of the proposed seating arrangements is required for evaluation.

Other than that, do take note of the weight your motorcycle should be taking, that's important too.
