SILVERWING 400 priced to sell below 3K, NEGO upon viewing, Very very very good cond.

COE ends on 6th Nov 2016,

Bike has been fully done up and poised for COE renewal. No worries relaxed, reliable everyday workhorse type of ride.

 

What was done recently:

Full clutch servicing and belt changed

New starter motor and battery changed got it from FJT

Steering cone bearing changed

Rear wheel and front wheel bearings changed

Brake pads also just changed.

Rear rotor changed to new Honda original parts rotor from FJT

Tires front and rear are new

Air filters changed to KNN

Engine oil and filters just changed a few days ago.

Fork oil changed new.

Coolant also new.

 

 

Reason for letting go:

It used to be a daily ride a few days ago and was planning to renew COE to carry on, so did up almost everything but got a good price n cond on a class 2 bike so letting go.

 

 

More details:

I'm the second owner of this bike and the previous owner took care of it very well and I did the same too by changing oil every month and doing preventive maintenance on it such as lubing and checking on its moving parts like belts, bearing etc and regardless if it travelled below 3000km or not, i will change the oil BCOS CHANGING OIL IS CHEAPER THAN CHANGING METAL.

 

It is also equipped with a phone holder for GPS viewing, USB phone charger and a voltmeter to monitor the battery cond. I kiasu so always change battery before it conks out.

 

Although the bike has done over 100K in kms, it is damn healthy for a 9 year old. Will cruise at 130-140 all day long if u plan on riding long distance and pick up is stronger than most 400cc scooters in its category. Bike is not eating oil or has smoke from the exhaust at all. U pour in 2 liters of engine oil and one month later 2 liters comes out when u drain it out.

 

Outlook for a 9rd old is also good, no broken parts or deep scratches cos the paintwork is actually just 2 yrs old cos i got it resprayed, some waxing and polishing will definitely make it look almost brand new.

My home has sheltered parking so does my workplace so sun n rain does not affect its cond when stationary and parked and i wash the bike every week too.

btw it's already sold, bike too good and too good of a price which is below 3k with COE till nov2016 to be left still unsold here. LOL. To the new owner, congrats n to those who were still on the fence, well the fence just got demolished. So move along yall.
