laid up bike

hi all,

 

i about to buy over a bike from fellow forumer.

 

i was told to laid up the bike so that i can suspend my road tax.

 

or is it better to transfer the ownership to my friend first and when i got my license, transfer back to me again?

 

LTA require the location where i lay up my bike.

 

why do they need the address for? will they come and spot check?

 

what if i take the bike out for some cruising in the early morning, what will happen?

its better to wait till u get ur license before committing to a bike.

if u cant, lay it up.

If u lay it up or keep the road tax, its better not to ever take it out for a spin without license.

if u cant, then u risk being banned from riding for a year minimum.

If u take it out for a spin and not get caught,

you may bang someone else and then get yourself in really big ****.
