Have change clutch cable a few months ago. Using OEM. Yamaha Genuine parts. From the time I changed, the biting point is quite wide, even I fully screw in the adjustable screw at the clutch lever. Get use to it anyway.

But as months pass, the biting point is becoming wider and wider. Beside the adjustable screw at the clutch lever, is there any other place to adjust? Heard from frens that there is also a adjustable nut near the tip of the cable. But cant seem to find it.

Any modification to be done? Eg, add extra padding... ...?

the other adjust point is the other end of the clutch cable..

which is near the rite side of engine.. everytime u clutch in, the metal thing will move as the same time..

but based on yr situation, is better to take note of the clutch plates and engine oil.. wear clutch cable will cause the biting point getting nearer, not further..

I regularly change my engine oil. and the last time i change my clutch plates is at 2004, but can last quite long rite?

I see the metal thing but cant seem to adjust it. When I turn it, the cable rotate with the turn.

Ok. The previous clutch b4 this one is ok. last till it snap then I go shop change. Theirs even worse, I have to almost fully open up my palm then can feel the biting point. Ask them to adjust and they tell me its the nearest liao.

But i cannot get use. so i go buy original one, hope can solve the problem. Manage to change in on my own. 1st time changing it but got oiled it b4 changing. Trying if sgbike bros can help, If still cant solve then must go shop again.
