Self-skid if police get involved = failure to control vehicle = careless riding 6pts (if they are mean about it, reckless riding 9pts).

Unless evidence or a valid reason is provided, like road debris. Tree branch, Wooden plank. Cardboard box. Etc. Wet conditions not valid, they'll ask you why ride like that if you know roads are slippery.

Smile! Tomorrow will be worse.

If maintaining a safe distance, should be able to avoid. If safe distance not kept, then, failure to maintain safe following distance. If happened while lanesplitting and strike a car/pedestrian, riding without due care. Self-skid penalties may apply depending. Hit car = your fault. If bike skid from other direction towards you, meaning from the side/laterally, maybe still have room for argument as it is from an unexpected direction. If self-skid in front, no go, no safe distance.

End of the day, hit car = your fault. Then up to you to pin the blame on the rider that self-skid in front to make it his/her fault.

Smile! Tomorrow will be worse.

Self skid is always your own fault. So if damage other people car, also your fault. Cannot blame any other things.
