CB400 SPEC2 w BLUEFLAME (COE MAY 2022)

Posted (edited)

Hello guys, after much contemplating I've decided to sell my beloved CB400 SPEC2 as it's time to move on to CL2!

General Details:

Full Black Paintwork: 9.5/10

Engine Condition: 10/10

Date of Effective COE: May 2022

Millage (new meter): 13.5km

PRICE: $7,999(EDIT) FAST SALES (know what you're paying for)

The bike has gone through a Full Engine Overhaul and major replacement of parts, which will be stated in detail below. This assures you that you do not have to worry about any major expenditure anytime soon in your period of ownership. Which all of you should know, one of major considerations you MUST have on the engine's for bikes that are 10+ years old & above. (Note to all upgrades from 2B, expenditure wise on your 2A for engine related problems are going to cost you alot more)

The reason for my extensive change of parts was because I originally wanted to keep it until 2022 and I wanted my bike to be a trusty one. This change for CL2 was impromptu.

So here are the list of items/parts I have changed & replaced for my CB400 (note that parts are NEWLY replaced not taken out and repaired which happens for some cases of overhaul). All receipts are kept to prove its legitimacy.

In relation to:

FULL OVERHAUL: 07/2015

(1) Connecting Rods

(2) Filler Neck

(3) Overhaul Gasket

(4) Oil Seals

(5) Thermostat

(6) Cam Chain Guide

(7) Clutch Plate

(8) Clutch Disk

(9) Crankshaft Bearing

(10) Connecting Rod Bearing

(11) Needle Valve

(12) Magnetic Coil

(13) Cam Chain, Cam Chain Tensioner

(14) Tension Lifter

(15) Piston, Piston Ring Set, Pinston Pin

(16) Valve Cover Screw

(17) Chain & Sprocket

(18) Honda Air Filter

and the other little important stuff that i shall not name.

CARBURETTOR:

Old carburettor was replaced with a trusty SPEC 3 carburettor on 08/2015. Did intensively rebuilding and tuning before it was fixed into my bike. Bike sounds pretty sweet with this carburettor

Changed my carburettor fuel hose too so you don't have to worry about it leaking.

BRAKES:

Front & Back brakes have been serviced. Faulty pistons caused by wear & tear have been completely replaced.

OTHER PARTS (2015-2016):

CNC mirrors

Honda Brake Pump Kit (front)

Pirelli Diablo Tyres, Tyre Valve.

Wheel Bearings, Wheel Oil Seals, front wheel Bush Kits

Honda Valve Spool

Honda Choke Cable, Plug Coil

Hella Horn

Honda Original Handle Bar (cause prev older changed it to some lousy one)

Honda Sprocket Set with RK O-ring gold chain

Wheel Rubber Hubs, Wheel Bearings Set, Wheel Seal Sets

LEGIT YSS TWIN suspensions (bought fromFJT, you do not have to worry about your 10year+ showa leaking and needing a costly repair)

Steering Cone Bearings

Did not know that there were so many things that could be replaced in a CB400? Don't get a bike just because the initial prices are cheap, which may be seemingly deceiving. I've spent a total of 4-5K+on my repairs itself alone (not even inclusive of machine price LMAO).

Really thought of keeping the bike until the end that's why I changed all my parts.

I'm the kind of rider that cannot ride with a defective bike, which i believe is a good thing in the long run. Well, my loss your gain. CLASS 2 IS WAITING. Open to trade for CL2 sports bike as well, can top up on my side depending on all factors considered. (Just don't sell me rabak one ah!)

Huh? I don't get you dude. It's been 10-11 months now since the overhaul, if that's what you're wondering.
