broken bike key .. help

hey guys, need some help. Guess the title says it all. yesterday i broke (into 1/2) my bike key. The broken 1/2 is still stuck inside the ignition. I can still turn on/off but need to "kiao" alittle bit using my house key =)

 

I tried calling the shop i bought my bike from but they dont have spare. Is there any place where a keysmith can make a new key for me and roughly how much will it cost me? i when to a motor shop and they ask me replace the whole ignition thingy and qoute me 100$++ which i dont wana spend that much. Btw im riding a Gsxr400. Thx in advance. Ride safe:slurp:

u try use a pincer to pull out the remain .... or u can go find ah leong at defu lane maybe he got ways to take out the remain

well the remaining 1/2 inside the ignition isnt really a concern, cos i believe it can be easily taken out. But will it be able to make another key when i dont have a spare and mines broken.. or will i need to change the whole iginition? thx in advance

can bring ur bike to the locksmith beside ah boy.. he can do a new key for u....

i got a similar problem too my sp's passenger seat the lock rusty and cant open....i wonder go shop need to change only the lock or the ignition lock, tank lock and the passenger seat lock??? abt how much ar Thanks

perhaps u might wana change ur ignition key?

my friend had the same problem before... had to change the whole ignition...

around 100+ i think.. Try HKL @ Bukit Merah..
