I'm not sure whether there's such thread around but i hope bikers can ask and share what they use to make their bikes LOOK GOOD!

I have stains on my engine cover and it's very difficult to remove. These stains, i believe have been there for years and i'm thinking of using BRASSO to polish away the ugly stains.

 

1. Is it recommended? If not then use what?

 

2. What should i use to protect the surface after BRASSO'ing? Such thing as high-temperature lacquer?

So got such thing as high-temp "lacquer" since there's high-temp paint spray...?

A relatively simple DIY i did was to change the backlight on my 04 636 speedo from orange to blue. Im no pro, but all it took me was 2+ hrs.
