[after market exhaust] - insurance and LTA compliance matters

Does anyone knows the implications of installing an after market exhaust (street legal, LTA approved)? E.g. How will it affect our motorcycle insurance?

 

Also, if we revert back to the original pipe, do we need to go back to LTA again for it to be checked/approved again, since I suppose the bike was registered as being fitted with an after market exhaust?

You definitely need a LTA approved exhaust else be prepared for a heavy fine if caught. If you revert back to original exhaust, need not get LTA for approval.
