Bad experience, eh? I've dealt with him numerous times & I don't see anything wrong with him. Two of my boys just got Fazers from him a few days back & no complaints. I agree that his words may not be sugar-coated but ultimately, he doesn't bullsh*t you with hidden fees. OTR price means OTR price. No hidden fees.

Anyhow, what bike do you intend to re-loan? If it's a popular bike, quite a number of bike shops will be willing to do it. But no such thing as a 100% re-loan. You need to upfront the insurance and put in at least a downpayment.

It IS popular cos his prices are lower than most shops. In all honesty, my current bike is not from BP cos I received a high trade-in value from De Xing for my old bike since it was from that shop. However, I've bought bikes from BP before and his price is indeed low. No hidden fees. No free cheapo helmets, etc. Just low prices. Only issue is some buyers prefer to be pampered with sweet words & promises and are willing to pay more for that...

No doubt that BP price are among the lowest. Buying is a no problem there.no hidden cost stc.but when u outstand 1 bike installment with him, all other bike u have with him he will re-po and ask for the payment that surprisingly sky high.if u didnt pay, he will make your re-po bike with new paint work and whatever repair work and sell it off. all the paintwork and repair will be put in your repo chargers.imagine i have 4 bikes there under my name and only one was still outstanding for 2 months, he repo all my bike. and the only one bike that is outstanding, he do up back and sell it off. i bear all the charges. with no choice i only took back only 1 bike which was fully do up and paid cash for the bike.during my bike was there, which was less than 1week,some of my after market accessories are missing.when asked, he said he dont know. what goes around comes around..i'm not the only person to experience this. most of the old bird rider usually share their experience with the new generation riders. basically its up to them. even those mechanics even have a comment on that spectacle guy..

The policy of debt & repossession is universal. If you have 1 bike outstanding, all your vehicles with the same lender will be repossessed cos ultimately, the debt is a consolidated one. BP is not the only one to apply this rule. Applies to cars and other vehicles too. Another analogy is credit cards. If you have multiple credit cards with a bank, any non-payment on a single card will freeze all other cards too. And if the debt on the multiple cards amount to more than 10K, they can apply for bankruptcy proceedings even though it is only a single card which is not serviced properly. As a benchmark, do not look at individual credit lines/facilities but concentrate on the consolidated one if it is from a single lender...

Also, vehicles are repossessed as-is, meaning whatever aftermarket parts stuck on the bike or car stays with it when it is repossessed. However, since you mentioned that you took back one bike, I suggest you counter-check with Ah Swee again on the missing parts. That should not be the case.

PS - All my 5 other colleagues who currently have bikes from BP have had no problems since they service their installments promptly. It's the same with other bike shops. You service your loans on time, no problems.
