problem with kappa top box stoplight

hi, anyone experience this problem before? my kappa k46 stoplight seems to have a problem in which the light is not being detected properly. it happened before and i used something to wedge inbetween the top contact point and the box to make the two contacts closer to each other and touch more but recently the pressure does not seem to be the problem. now its seems super hard to get the brakelight to work. anyone has any solutions? ty

Thank you for your interest - notice the Signal LEDs can be seen the side right thru the back.
