anyone experienced electrical problems on their GTS? My hazard lights are permanently on. No matter wat switches or buttons i push. Only by disconnecting my battery will the lights turn off. all fuses are fine and i tried disconnecting the battery for a day. Problem still persists. Bike runs fine other than the hazard light problem. Any one with same issues?

think most likely is the signal relay giving you the problem

try not to judge in this way, because it might cause more wear and tear.

standard changing belt is still about 12000km, main reason if the belt can last longer, but the rollers cant (it will wear out the whole variator in long term).

Dear SYM RIDERS,

I have joined the team recently and got myself a nice one. Unfortunately similar to all your problems, exhaust is giving me hell load of problems. And looking through the threads, I have finally changed mine to the GPR Exhaust yesterday (25th June 2009 at Future Scootering). Boy does it sound good. The only problem for me is I meant this bike to be for point A to Point B only and its too much for me to handle and its attracting loads of attraction! Haha. As I was browsing through the site, I saw some of you guys quite interested in it. Definite Brand New. No gimmicks. Got Receipt. Thanks. Interested buyers please send me an sms at 91390338.

i see i see... what a waste....actually GPR exhausts are mostly legalised in singapore.... think the dealers in singapore should try to get this legal so that bikers can benefit from it....

Hi guys,

I just got a SYM GTS but f*** the exhaust is ****. Thought of replacing a stock one. Anyone know how much does a stock one cost and where to get it? Thanks!

erm stock exhaust not cheap. If i remember its around 300 at future scootering. U got the rattling noise too right? Inside something broke already :faint:

thanks for the info, when u say 300, does it mean new one or second hand?

new one. But this thing is common for gts. design flaw. boss of future say no point buying new one or second hand one since the piece inside will eventually break again and cause the same rattling noise. A permanent fix would be find someone cut open the exhaust and remove the offending object or buy an aftermarket exhaust like the one simon is selling now.
