Anyone selling SYM GTS 200/250 ? I am desperately looking for one.

If you know of anyone or any shop selling please do let me know.

 

I have tried SBF Search button but they wouldn't let me search with 3 words. =(

I have tired the bike sales section but after searching for 15 pages,

i have not even come across one thread about SYM GTS.

I know HENG MOTOR AT uPPER cHNAGI SELLING gts200 .You can called them if they have any right now. There are also 2 others you can drop by also , near to Heng motor >M1 And ASPhoon.

can tell me the pros and cons .. compare SYM GTS 200 to yamaha MAJESTY 250.

 

 

- 1st hand Cheaper to buy

- I feel it is More sporty :) look

- bigger Storage

- FC > depend on rider .

- Maintainance cheaper

Oops i was comparing with X8 .... never check on majesty250CC before but for sure thier 400 CC has bigger storage (My causin own 1) .

 

I saw this REVTEC product at http://www.revtec.com.sg/motor.htm ,anybody used 1 before. Any improvement to ur bike?

actually x8 also got bigger storage space enuff for 2 fullface. My friend owns one. disappointed with gts underseat storage. i guess most taiwanese wear half caps so they dun put much effort in making more underseat storage.

Anyone changed their tyre, kindly advise the make and cost. Thinking of changing my wheels. Someone recommended Dunlop, and Michelin. I do not need performance wheels, just need something for commuting and good grip.

Ic..it look small when an uncle open his X8 underseat.I guess i'm wrong.

I was also in the same situation as you when I got my riding license. I was deciding between a number of rides, SYM GTS200, Gilera Runner, Honda Phantom and Daelim Daystar. Decided on a scooter in the end because of mostly city riding and easy of riding without clutch.

 

Decided to settle with GTS 200 over Gilera Runner over a few factors. More storage space, lower upfront cost and maintenance cost.

 

Rather happy with the ride now. I get on the average 22~25km per litre. No where compared to Phantom or Daystar which are manual. But it is very comfortable as I am able to place both feet down on the ground whenever I choose to. No engine stalling, pick up for the GTS 200 is quite alright.

 

I have heard about the exhaust issue. Till now, my exhaust is still alright, I have vibration above 90km/h. But otherwise the ride is very comfortable. The bike also tends to be very heavy on the rear, so be careful on a wet day.

 

Overall, it is a good ride.

My friend battery just went dead on him so need to know the model to help him get one, thanks in advance!!! :)

Or

 

You have a moulded front wind shield/front crowl, and you wish to change back to the stock or original one please do contact me.

 

Or

 

You are selling your SYM GTS, sell me your parts ! So you can sell your bike at the market price and i can get cheaper stuff. 1 stone kill two bird.

 

I am not a trader ! I currently own a stock FBC SYM GTS 200 bike and i really wanna do up the bike but i have got no $$.

So to all you kind hearted soul out there do contact me and maybe we can work something out.

I just changed mine about 2 weeks back. It is the Yuasa YTX9-BS. I bought mine at Ah Boy. Considering to get a lead battery charger so that I can charge up my battery should it go flat again.

 

I understand you can approach Richard at Limbat to help charge up your flat battery, I believe he charges a fee for it. That's a cheaper alternative to buying a new battery.

if im not wrong 2nd hand is $3 to 4 k..........so might as well get a new one

 

trade in ma x9 ...& pay installment & 168 x 36 mth....donno if da price is expensive........but buay tahan oreadi die~die must buy gts looks good & feel gooood:angel::angel:
