There is no use in friendship with an ungrateful person.

Anger comes as a result of intolerance.

One who can maintain peace of mind is happy.

Happy is he who killed his own anger.

hey dudes..I just got my rear wheel changed recently and it started to have these loud pops or rather bangs coming from below my GTS. I don't think changing my rear wheels would cause such stuff right?

anyway, it was done by a new guy at the workshop and it was evident that he was inexperienced with GTS. First thing he did was to try to remove my exhaust pipe but guess what, I think because he was unable to remove the nut under my bike that holds the pipe, he gave up and jimmied and rotated here and there and took out half of my exhaust pipe sia. I was stunned but thought maybe that was e right thing to do until the boss came and told him "you removed the whole exhaust pipe ah?" and "next time don't remove like this..muz take out the whole thing." then i was like :nono: in my heart.

and the new guy also messed up the screws. he removed them but forgot where each one was supposed to be at and so bo bian they just agar agar put back. saw some internal threads got forced-cut out when one bolt was screwed in. *heartpain* and guess what..one bolt just came off sometime after and I found my guard dangling on one side. shitz...going back to workshop now. update u guys later...

*lesson learned: please look for the more experienced guy at the workshop to do your bike next time. :gun:

OMG... Which workshop is that? Better to avoid.

I strongly recommend going to that workshop and look for the more experienced ones. As for the name, I don't think I will mention it as a lot of us actually frequent it often be it for upgrades, repairs or purchases.

Anyway, didn't managed to go there today as no one picked up my call. I assumed they're closed for the public holiday. I may drop by tomorrow to have my bike checked.

I've tried to research on google and saw some people mentioning that it could be some issues with flapper valve or something like that. Some others mentioned that it's because there are excess fuel sprayed out so combustion took place in exhaust pipe. It really makes me wonder if it is due to that mechanic's action of removing half of my pipe that resulted in this lor.

Now wherever I travel, when I close throttle and my speed drops to 60, it will give out a loud bang. It is so loud, pedestrians will all turn my way and see what happened. :nono: If my observation is right, my fuel efficiency has reduced too. Haiz..all I wanted to do was to just change my back tyre to a Michelin Gold Standard. What a headache now.. :nono:

I changed my tyre recently at UniqueSport, service was quite good. They do not have stocks for both front and rear tyre Michellin, so I am using front Avon and rear Michellin Gold Standard. Changed because I skidded some time back in the carpark when the floor was wet, decided to get a new set of wheels. Quite happy with the ride now.

I considered before the piaggio x9 & kymco 150 model but not up to my preferences...

X9: too much problem after/during the maintenance...

Kymco: i just prefer the sym model

Got it from Mah Motor Pte Ltd @ serangoon @ 7.2k OTR with box + FF helmet...

Quite expensive from what i seen in the post but everywhere else too selling at 7.3k~7.5k....

Oh well now got it and its great.. Just need to get some mods for the pickup and accelerations... Any tips/ideas guys?
