Mmm i m paying 233 mthly for 3 yrs. machine price i can hardly remember thx to waiting for like almost 2 mths? COE was $1502 insurance $700+ previous insurance used my bro's name thats why i got no NCD, start from scratch.

 

Fuel consumption so far i tested 11L travelled about 320km, estimate 1L - 33km.

Just changed my EO after first 300km, gotta run in another 1000km more and change EO again, waste money!

BTW anyone able to fit 2 normal open face helmet under the seat compartment? i can only fit one open face helmet towards the back, the front looks like it can only fit a half capped helmet and nothing more.

One last thing i forgot, even if i manage to fit the nozzle of the fuel pump into my valve, pumping petrol will still have alil spillage. Anyone facing this problem also? Any tips?

its like that bro. either u hope that the pump auto stop nicely or u slowly pump lor when reaching the brim.

Every thing about the GTS200 is nice. except i find that its a pain to top up petrol. gotta bend down and watch the fuel reaching the brim. Not to mention, I have to use a mini torch to see carefully. Noticed there is a metal strip that acts like a stopper to prevent the nozzle from inserting fully.

Anyone has a better way of pumping? new to this bike.

Any recommendation for a shop to fix my SYM joyride ?

 

The front disc break is making noise when I push the bike.

Looks like the breaks are touching the disc while I am riding.

 

And my horn is NOT working !! Looks like the button is busted.

Hi, guys... just brought a 2nd hand GTS200...

I found that the top speed is only 110kmh, downslope can hit 120kmh rpm at 9k+...

is that normal?

I just replace all OEM roller, belt, clutch due to wear and tear...

can enlighten me?

Bro...Bro..110km/h still not enough ah ? plse remember this is a scooter and should ride on a cool & relax mode...hehehe.. My GTS also same 110km/h max. if need higher speed than that i suggest u should consider X9 200...heard this is a good bike...what u all the snr symian said ?

My bike mllg is 95k when I get it, just worries something goes wrong wif my bike.

Better understand it before thing get worst... as mention I noob on scooter...

Bro.. I think you buy the old model gts..Old model Can only hit 110.. New model gts can hit 130.. That's the different

Old model the logo at the handel bar is SYM but new model is Round shape logo.. So what's yours??

What you need to tune is TOP speed , is PICK UP spd.

 

Change Dr Pulley, see which "g" is the best for your GTS 200, try to hit 1~100 in 10s then u know how shoick

anyone using dr pulley on their GTS? Heard from a few diff mechanics dr pulley dont last as long as stock pulleys. True or false? I read smwhr online dr pulley's lifespan, wear and tear is longer tho. If its good and can last longer, i wont mind changing it to get better torque.

Selling a new stator unit for gts, consist of a plastic cover, spring n rubber seal as shown on pic. Brought at $65, now selling at $35 only due to selling of bike so no more using it. A good spare to keep as e stator unit can b spoilt due to wear n tear of rubber seal causing engine to die off when throttle. Interested pls sms me @98214979 to deal.

For new bike, beside the running in of engine, every 3K change EO and 12K change belt.

It have to depend on the bike shop and you arrangment.

 

4) what is the main concern to decide which to buy? eg, power? fuel consumption?

Neither... if this your first bike, consider it as a learning stage. Fuel and power is of no concern.

Most important is to build up your riding skill and road wise.

 

5) Is SMY only sold at Mah?

No, Mah is main, the remain bike shop still get from Mah. But price, i recommend you get from others.

1) Brand new Dr pullery hit clutch set consist of hit clutch, clutch bell n 6 springs for $200 (retail at $550)

2) Stator unit spare consist of spring, plastic cover n diaphram for $35. (retail at $68)

See !!the user manual, printed 3000KM for every oil change, and 6000km to clean filter. I would resume the OCI with lights up when close to 3000km. Although oil change are not expensive but i do not under usage = waste $ + not environmental friendly lei...

Guys I did not come to forum for about 2 weeks. Seems I got all the problem that you guys suffered and discoverred:

 

1. FC: I can run about 200KM, from FULL tank to RESERVE. That should be 8 litter for 200. 25KM/L? FC is even higher than Shorty's complained fighter.

 

2. Vibrate when 35km/hour. Will check my Pipe NOW. . .

 

I thought GTS 200 is a FC efficient model?
