Thanks! Before I start to tune that screw, I'd like to know, my mileage is now 3000K now. Is my RUN IN finally over?

 

Also, I added twice Mobile 4T racing engine oil, is that suitable for SYM GTS 200 scooter engine?

Thanks, bro. Btw, can anyone tell me what is the use of the centre consol on our SYM bike? Kind of funny being there as it collect water everytime it rains..

Bro, my neck waited 8 months already. Called several agent that distributes legal exhaust, all said nothing for SYM bikes!!

Any bro out there whom has did the mod, can to share your lobang??

excel2 ive seen a few. one is a despatch rider always at my office bldg. another is a white one i sometimes see at the junction near my office. another one is saw FBF plate near my house...but green color. didnt know it comes in green. another one is mine which i see everyday. hehehe.

 

fighter also ive seen...but not sure whether new or old version.

Hi guys! mi will be riding a scooter soon! it will be the sym excel II!! 1st tm riding scoot! any of you can gif me advice on which shop do u guys suggest me to go for this scooter, have parts for sym scoots (original). What do you guys think abt HLC. ok nt? tot of gg der for my scoot life tm.

 

can sum of u guys explain to me of mantaining a scooter like the excell II? like, E.O. milage how, transmission oil, belting, oil filter, full service - usually what?

 

sorry for alot of question guys, i used to ride a 2-stroke bike so nt really sure of this scooter mantainence thing. did sum research but nd to confirm with you guys who have experience!

AT LAST!!! SOMEONE RIDING THE EXCELII!!! hehe. i'm riding it too. simple small bike. HLC should b gd, from wat i've gathered in this forum. so scoot specialist, u can try future scootering at kallang, or wonderful motor (botak) at macpherson. for normal servicing like oil change, u can go to any of these shops. for faulty parts, go back to the shop u buy from cos warranty is there.

 

1st oil change recommended to b at 300-500km. 2nd 1000km, n 3rd 2000km. after that u can do every 2000 or 3000km interval. up to u. for me i do 2000km. new bike mah...must take gd care. hehehe. belting n such i tink can do yearly. future will hv the parts as they r used to doing SYM bikes. or can let botak do, but must let him know in advance.

 

running in up to u. some say soft run in gd. means riding 80km/hr for the 1st 1000km. some say jus whack. so...let u decide.

Hi there! nice to know you man, how bout the transmission oil(gear oil) and also the oil filter? I saw ure earlier post regarding the oil filter u want to change at a shop, den u say paiseh. How cum? i don't understand

fc not that gd for me. getting only on average 27km/l. tot can get abt 30. but too bad. performance?...hmm...acceptable. i ride only 90km/hr. only sometime will go up to 100. to n fro work heavy traffic, so cant speed much. faults?...so far the side mirrors keep loosening up, n will swing. right side fixed by changing the screw. but left side didnt change, cos not so bad. another fault now is the left signal. its dead. i suspect something wrong with the connection.

 

will go back to mah n ask them do, since still under warranty.
