Wow, that means the SW is really stable or slim or power or your skill is very good.

Running in? With modern technology these days tolerance of machined production is so good that running in is not necessary and your engine will be run in the factory already anyway. What is SYM or any manufacturer going to do? Let you run in yourself and if got problems then send back to taiwan or send a new engine to you from taiwan? They will ensure that all components and function are working before handed it to you. So in my own view and thinking, just ride normally, warm it up to operating temperature (hot engine)then do you normal riding just like a normal bike and every parts will run in itself. If by running in slowly, those tight parts is going to wear better and run in properly? If you ride slow it wear slow and it's gonna take a long time to run-in. If you ride normally, it wear faster and it's gonna run-in sooner - not like destroying wear but like new shoe, the more you wear the more comfortable it's gonna get sooner. So what if you ride slow? You think the engine is gonna give you more power and less wear? Then yes, make sure when you get a new shoe walk very slowly for the first 1000 steps, so that you do not wear your shoe unevenly and make sure you don't run and if you do, the shoe may break suddenly causing the sole to come off. Now are you going to do that? Yes it sounded silly and you think that engine and shoe is a different thing. If you tell this shoe story to a small kid maybe you can make him frighten and he'll walk slowly for the first 1000 steps if not the shoe will explode.

lol :D hahax..yeah usually new bikes they alrdy tested the engine at the lab for hours before hand over to us...so i tink first few km, we dont whack till oil change :)

btw a fellow SBF give me a Cyprus SYM Website and it states Maxsym 400i running in till 300km then Oil Change :)

Well, according to the GTS 200 manual, it also recommend 1st oil change at 300km. In fact just sent my GTS yesterday for 1st servicing @ 340km.

Guys, I just came back from Taiwan.

Bought some candy for my Fighter ^^

Thumbs up for the pulley set! Do not revolutionary flat slider roller, that's a failure product, nobody in Taiwan is using that! use Pulley Round roller!

Taiwanese Gu Niang is really good, my friend who ride Runner, tested and told me New Fighter is even more responsive ^^

Wah!!!

HO LIAO 好料!

Sure or not! Dr Pulley flat slider failure product, but thoes who use says pick up good some more high speed RPM lower than stock roller eg. stock roller 80km/h @ 5000rpm. Dr pulley flst rollers 80km/h @ 4700rpm. Failure but they still making it??? Can you be more specific, am really interested to know why. Amy web site mention that it is a failure? I would really like to read them up. Thanks. BTW i've been raving about them when i use them on my runner and told my friend to fix it on his nexus 300. Now how? :p

You can get the bracket from Mah Pte in Nov. They are currently out of stock and new shipment coming in in Nov. Mah Pte still owe me the bracket.

Oops sorry. Just enlarge the photo and realised that you want a different bracket. The normal bracket for the Sym GTS will be here in Nov. They owe me 1 bracket for my GTS. If you're ok with the standard bracket you may want to drop in to book 1 unit. Since last week, I saw about 4 to 5 units of SYM being sold.

There really have many after market parts. But that side don't really have much for bigger scooters.(Maybe really had to dig & find) Look at their street, u hardly see big scooters on road. All mostly small scooters running around....I saying in Taipei.

CLUB STICKER , ANYONE INTERESTED ?

Hi Realm9thfeb, I am still very curious about the flat slider failed product you are talking about. No body in Taiwan is using it, that can mean that we may be a victim outside Taiwan. I am going to install it and I feel that some SYM rider here may consider installing it. Please help us to be inform about the disadvantages so we do not become a victim of a failed product. Thanks in advance. Looking forward to your reasons and wise advice :)
