hello friends!

i just got a SP

everything seems to be fine

UNTILL. . .

1)engine wont start unless about 6 kicks, then dies off within 10seconds again. choke helps, but needs to be on for quiet abit

2)engine temp goes up to around 3/4 of the guage when in traffic jam, and my butt feels like its burning off.

3)got problem kicking into N gear, unlike before

4) engine seems to be "spitting" or "knocking" when bike is moving and throttle not opened alot

also curious to know what should the ideal rev be at idel and recent remarks have made my paranoid about piston jam, how do i know if it might be happening to my bike soon?

kindly advise. . .

thanks for viewing

sounds like you need to add engine oil / change engine oil... have you checked your engine oil levels yet?

your clutch pull more inwards

check your engine oil make sure cannot too much and also cannot too little.

only check engine oil when your bike is warm.

moving off rev to 2-3 rpm then let go clutch to biting point. dont let go clutch too much , dont forget what they teach in school.

if still still no power then when move off rev to rpm 4-5 then half clutch to release sp half clutch power!:thumb:

maybe you need to change your cdi. used to have such problem too. your 'spitting' problem might be because of incorrect settings.
