Hi guys, I need some advise regarding my SP.

Went for top overhaul yesterday and I have to do run-in for the first 1000km.

I change my gears at around 3.5krpm to 4krpm... is that considered smooth engaging of gears? cause I've spent quite alot already and don't wanna spoil my new piston haha

And one more thing, when im stopping at traffic i usually juZ kick to neutral n let it free roll and slowly apply brakes to stop... will that affect any run-in performance? :cheeky::cheeky:

The reason for running in, is to allow the engine to be able to work at different temperature smoothly. So by going to neutral and then applying the brakes, little or no heat is produced which I think is not good for now cos you are still running in.

hope this helps although this is my theory.

Thru my eyes, you will see the lines of reality blur <[!_!]>
