wait wait...i encounter something like that also last time.. when i stop at traffic light.. when light turn green i about to move off, also no fuel feeling... i went ah meng there to check, in the end is my "pick-up coil" aka "pulsar coil" spoil liao...need to change..after that everyting smoothly..

 

But funny is that my mechanic did check the coil, he said that its still in working condition. Coz before that my bike always low batt can't start coz i use High beam to ride as my normal beam always burst. Haiz.. Duno where it has gone wrong.. Sianz..

OFF head light, all charging is ok,

but when ON head light all that=problem, charging lower liao:dozed:

 

i try to DIY fix first.

Think to check ur charging and battery conditions.. try on everything (including headlamp) then rev ur engine while stationary. u should get 13.5v to 14v on ur battery at like 3.5 to 4krpm. or around 2k rpm should get 14v without headlights.

 

Anything less might be some problem with wiring or coil/battery not functioning too well le! better check it out as these things are chain effect.

 

If always under charge coz coil got problem ur battery and rectifier will spoil also.

magnetic coil (alternator) can be malfunction in 2 mode..

1. will onli charge when engine is not too hot, will not charge when engine is hot

2. completely no charging no matter wat.

 

Wat mitsui say abt pulsar coil is not the same as magnetic coil. pulsar coil is a deivce to control the firing of spark plugs..

 

have a check on the fuel pump and the kidney float(in case overflow of petrol) too..

depends on what u want to service bro.. Basic servicing like EO, spark plugs and oil filter change or washing of air filter? i using Maxima EO.. 1 bottle $24.. So 3 bottles $24 x 3 = $72, change my spark plug in jb using ngk platinum for RM64 and oil filter for RM20 very cheap only.. If u wan to wash carburator around S$70++.. not sure how much.. factory jet kit u can enquire at HKL.. install liao plus tuning should be close to $200++.. (u have to double-check)

yea..pulsar coil and magnetic coil different.. i also just changed my fuel pump not long ago...

bro how do u come to the conclusion ur bike no power.. also got many possibilities.. best is bring to ur mech for a checkup..

 

-Did u open full throttle and whack till every gear 10000rpm den change gear? ( I tried last week at 2nd link..power was uniform throughout..)

 

-Maybe ur tuning never do properly?

 

-Did u clear ur yoshi carbon? (i assume u bought the bike with yoshi with it)

 

-Did u use a thicker EO??

What header you're using? and what model u riding now? Coz i riding R model but i am using Hurricane Header and when i installed Yoshimura exhuast, at first i feel that its only abit more power but of course the sound very loud lah den my workshop advise me to put Dyno Jet and advance lor den after that i felt it has more power and better lor.. Not much things to mod also lah.. LoL..

For my case bo bian.. Coz i changed after market Signal lightboth front and back.. Den for my Headlight Bulb, i changed to those super bright de coz i working at changi cargo complex there den after my work quite late liao den the road i can't see the clearly as the road sometimes got no road lamp.. But will try that tml and see my bike how.. Thanks all..
