thanks for the replies guys.. wanna ask.. i'm intending to buy a RRL model but the circuit board i was warned need to replace. how much to replace one? would it be cheaper if i go jb do it??

 

i keep seeing you all mention this mechanic called xifu very good one.. where is the shop???

 

is there any effect to install hurricane header n endcan on a L model??

FAQ Abt CbR 400RR

 

Q. Where is XIFU's shop (X-Performance)?

A. AGL at JB ( Opposite Xing Hock )

 

Q. Wat is the difference between Hurricane and Fireblade?

A. Cosmetic wise the fairing is slightly different on the head and tail

portions , frame design is slightly improved for the fireblade.

Hurricane has 18 inch rear rims while fireblade uses 17 inch. Fireblade

also have revised electrical and suspensions compared to hurricane

according to specification.

A. The header is the exhaust section starting from ur block ending just

before ur exhaust pipe. Meaning to say it includes the 4 pipes coming

out from ur block and the mid pipe.

 

Q. Wat is a end can?

A. It is the last section of your exhaust. Ur end can is the MUFFLER

which reduces noise from ur exhaust system.

 

 

Q. Wat is the difference btw a hurricane header and a Fireblade header?

A. Size. Hurricane header having the largest diameter followed by L model , N

model and lastly R model.

 

Q. Wat is the effect of using a larger header?

A. Improved exhaust flow as the exhaust gas is able to move with less

restriction in the exhaust system thus improving engine efficiency.

wats ur advice in if i wanna make my cbr have more power n reach high speed without porting or modifying the inner part? i oni try till 140 but like need to tune lei. adjust the cdi? any advice bros..

incase u dunno a stock untuned original 100% OEM CBR400 can hit 180 even with power cut. Bring ur bike for a checkup to see if anything is malfunctioning.
