CBR forks are notorious for being soft.. can always service them..should be good to last u for the next 6mths at least.

btw, if u have plans to upgrade..dun spend too much.

for ur info, ebay bidding system is u place the maximum price that u're willing to bid, and they will auto bid for u and outbid anyone who has a lower maximum price than u, and vice versa; u'll be outbidded immediately by anyone who has a higher maximum price than u.

Maintenance for o-ring and x-ring is exactly the same, the only difference is the sealing mechanism used by the rubber rings. Saying one is more maintenance than the other is like saying its harder to eat a green apple than a red one.

$200 is too much for x-ring, ah boy have top of the range xring from DID for around $125, lower model DID X-ring less than $100.

All depends what you want to get out of it. Still quite reasonable for a good upgrade in handling, adjustability and a much newer piece, cheaper than rebuilt your old shock here. That's how I look at it anyway.

Ebay is very much a matter of patience though, if that one goes for too much another one will always come along, if you are patient and keep looking you will eventually get one for a bargain price.
