r u installing a full L model tong exhaust pipe(header+end can)? if yes, den u will require a min 108 size main jets... and if u have already removed the restriction plates in the cylinder head inlet rubbers and remove the sponges in th e air box den will might need bigger size main jets... mine installed with main jet size 110.

as for the derestriction, using the wiring method or installing a Max derestricter produces basically the same results...:goodluck: :goodluck: :goodluck:

its very chim leh wat is derestriction? Wat is it for to remove restriction plate (wats is tat?) in the clyinder head inlet rubber and the sponges in the air box? I tot the sponges is to filter the dirt?

tks dude, check with my mech he using size 108 for the main jets and size 35 for the pilot jets. as for the restriction plates in the cylinder head inlet rubbers and remove the sponges in th e air box have no idea but will check again with him. Pipe is original R model if not mistaken coz its wrap wif some cheap sticker. But will fix the L model tong pipe tis comin sat, but header is still R model. if tat the case i will use the wiring method as its cheaper. anything else i need to know so can inform my mech wat to change as its gona be free! :cheeky:

btw wat is ur top speed?

will not be tat good if the header is still R model one coz the exhaust flow is still restricted at the header portion...

top speed haven't try before leh...:sorry:

if u r riding a L or N model den the derestriction don't really applies. R model were restricted and they were fitted with restriction plates in the cylinder head inlet rubber to restrict the airflow and the exhaust headers and endcan were smaller to restrict the exhaust flow...all this restrictions will reduce the horsepower output of the bike. as for the sponges, it is located in the inner side of the 2 snorkels of the airbox...as the purpose is not really for filtration of dirt coz the airfilter is there to undertake that task already...

Does anywhere sell full stainless steel race systems for CBR400 here? I have seen them for superfour from a few manufacturers but not for CBR400 anywhere.
