how serious is the damage to the items u mention?

if on budget, can bend it back if the damage is minor..

 

handle bar can get from scrapyard or buy a new one which is rather ex.. forget the price le..

 

the side mirror can get from Ah boy at cost of abt 30 bucks..

 

the metal thing u mention should be the metal thing holding the head cowl and mirrors.. if not serious, can bend it back.. but will nv bend to the rite angle..

new one cost abt 50-80 bucks.. same thing - forget the price le..

handlebar dent t de left side, bubble broke, side mirror dent inwards, the metal thing is still screwed on just that dent in de middle. i got slider so the impact is nt that serious for my fairing. only a few scratches.

handlebar dent t de left side, bubble broke, side mirror dent inwards, the metal thing is still screwed on just that dent in de middle. i got slider so the impact is nt that serious for my fairing. only a few scratches.

the total price of repairing everything is,

 

new side mirror

new bubble

new slider

jet whole handlebar

respray those affected fairings,

the metal thing

 

total cost $450 - $500

actually is mor than $500 but mechanic hlp me by lessen de cost

isit worth it?

new bubble - $35(brandless)

New slider - $65(average cost)

Jet handlebar - $30(estimate)

Respray side fairing - $200(estimate)

fairing stay - $100(base on siaoguy's experience)

total - $460

yeah its actually quite alright and nt only jet de handlebar, down de handlebar got some things spoiled got t change. hw much roughly t respray whole bike to black colour? thankz bro.

for the whole fairings respray, the cost is abt 450 to 500 bucks..

must see fairings send to which shop and its quality..

how much is to change engine oil n servicing ar?

 

depend which kind of "black oil" u looking for and what kind your servicing u want :cheeky:

 

scheduled servicing:-

black oil

black oil filter

spark plug

carb synchronize (optional:open up and wash carb)

carb AFR retune

 

as attachment for your ref. :cheeky:

Hi guys, sorry to interupt.

 

Is this the thread for CBR400?

 

Im planning to get a CBR400 but i need some pros out there to give me some tips

about this bike if that is possible.

Like what to look out for when viewing and such.

How old is this bike and etc etc. And guidances given by the 'lao jiao' here will be

greatly appreciated.

 

 

Class 3 - 15 Sep 08 (10th attempt)

Class 2B - 2 April 09 (9th attempt)

Class 2A - 29 June 10 (11th attempt)

Class 2 - 25 August 11 (0 attempt)

 

  1. May 09 - Rinoa Heartilly (KRR150)
  2. Feb 12 - Ariel (RVF 400)
  3. Apr 12 - Miyako (RVF 400)
  4. Dec 12 - Wave 125

due to technical issues, not recommended become a 1st class 2A bikes

my advise is get it as cheap as possible(around $1500-$2000) spend other $2000 for "school fee" for learn the technical knowledge.

what he mean is that buy the bike at about 1.5k - 2k then set aside 2k for repairs as a learning process :)

too many to list and ways to check..

therefore is either u get a friend who is gd at bike knowledge.. or u get the bike at very low price and use the excess money to repair the bike..

Prefer to get it cheap and repair as well.. at least u know wat is being repaired and stuff.. Knowledge comes in handy for c2 bikes also..

these knowledge cannot pass down over nite one..

have to learn as time passes..

take my wife as an example, she now noe bike tech and symptoms for faulty items after listening to my explanation for abt 6 years.. althou she is not a rider herself..

need to join outing wif members who have knowledge on bike and learn from wat they say/explain..
