Hello guys, have a small prob here.

 

i just serviced my carb. After servicing, i notice a faint clanging sound emitting from below the fuel tank whenever i reach 6-6.5k rpm, regardless of which gear i'm at. it sounds like metal slapping each other. i never hear this sound b4. it's he 1st time i service my carb after 1yr+ of riding my fblade.

 

i brought it back to my mech who did the servicing for me. he said it's nothing much. just plastic slapping each other as he loosen this air intake box below the tank.

 

but it really didn't sound like plastic clanging. i really doubt his words, as it was already 10pm when he checked my bike. i think he's too tired and lazy, so anyhow troubleshoot.

 

i will be seeking a 2nd opinion soon, maybe at planet? or anyone here can recommend a gd mech?

 

also, with regards to my prob, have anyone encountered the same prob b4? or, anyone can advice me on this? this sound is really worrying me as 6-6.5k rpm is what i normally travel at on singapore roads...
