to joseph n shiken sorry i cldnt make it to jb today. my bike in bikeshop ah. my 'o' ring or sth leaking then need to change. my brake pad also need to change. haiya no more money already sia. anyone want to donate hahaha

i try moving around diff shops when it comes to cosmetics and simple things on my bike.but as long as engine problem,clifford of k n t is the only one that touches my engine..

Is it there isn't any cranking at all? If there is no cranking, check yr ign coil and the wire under ign that u insert the key..

 

Haha, sound so familiar. I got the same prob last night. But i was unluckier, rode my bike to jb, jam for 1.5hr @s'pore custom. Went in to eat and pump petrol. Aft pumping petrol, i on my ignition switch and start my bike, when i turn my handle bar, my power cut off. Den i know this time round jialat, must be my ignition wire loose or something like tt. So i push my bike to ah gua lane from the petrol stn ( luckily not very far ), approach 2 bike shops, they dun dare to repair my bike, they scared they can't solve my prob and mayb worsen my situation and they don't have spare parts for my bike. Den went to ah boy shop, they say they can repair. So i waited 2hr for them to start repairing my bike. It took them 1hr to identify and rectify the prob. It was my main ignition wire broke somewhere along the line, tt's y the current was cut off. Den they attached another wire to link up the circuit and my prob was solved.

 

But another prob arised, by the time i was leaving m'sia, it is abt 6am in the morning( I went in ard 12am ), so i tot 1st link sure jam like nobody business, so i went back by 2nd link. Along the highway, my headlight fuse burst. So i travelled more den half the journey without any headlight and i depend on other bikes light to see wat is in front of me. Reach 2nd link s'pore custom, also jam like hell, waited for another 1.5hr. Aft chopping my passport, i had to push start my bike becoz headlight and starter share the same fuse.

 

Finally i reached home at 8am diz morning. Yday night was my unluckiest night i had with my CBR.

Ya, guess wer engine is concern .. its Clifford.. read dat some sellers on Garage also always state they do main servicin at KnT n no wer else.. shows dat KnT is veri reliable.

bro, brakes n tyres if worn den must change la...else if touchwood buang den cost even more to repair..can save on other things but definitely must spend on safety aspects..

ok ok .. another confirmation for Unique motors... how come all d good bikeshops r in East?? but so many black shops in west( Alexandra, toa guan) sigh...

 

ya when i bought my cbr i tried all sorts of shops but i find tt unique is the best. havent tried raceworks though. great service n nice ppl. up till now i did every single thing down there. u can try to find kelvin n tell him yazid riding cbr400 reccomend u. maybe can get discount:angel:

Thanks bro, i alrdy went to racewerks to check my wiring. K&T need to call them and check whether they are available to repair my bike anot becoz as u know, the only person tt can really do the repair is the boss. Like making an appt with them, unless my bike major break down or something liddat. Otherwise i very seldom go down coz too far from my hse. Neverthless, K&T is a gd bike shop.
