mine was purple, but dun knw why take the photo, become blue colour, but changed it to brighter ones, white in colour.

 

yea i was wondering if mine was carb dirty or not, coz mine moving off, can really feel the petrol not going in like wanna die wanna die lidat, must throttle more then can. i now pump 95 alr, maybe change 98 try try ? in the mean time trying to figure out what else could be wrong.

hmmm... like wat Gladiator say.. mine areadi Hurricane header.. put in a Yoshi, micron , GPR or sometin den bcome power full system...

 

I wil also go try put on KNN filter..if therr is one..

yes Tronican... but some of us are quite new ... so we dun reali understand those aftermarket accesories performance.. so since u hv tried some.. its better for us to learn from u

 

mayb u can help provide a short list of each acce u tried n r opinon..?

 

eg KNN filter .... improved imediate throttle response.. worth getting..

Oh now i know y many accidents involve lorries.. U see, lorries jam many hours at causeway..they bcome impatient..once on open roads they wil speed more n also due to rainthus more accidents invlvlin lorries..

TRY take out your spark plug wash it with petrol , dry it then see how la. rather then give money to the bike shop to do it. but if dun dare to open the bike up, do it with some experinced bladers who had done it before.

hey ninja, actually i have been using V-power since i bought my bike, but i dun feel any diffrence when i change to diff octane with my previous bike. i dunnoe if the my air filter has been mod or not cause i haven got time to explore my bike yet. i only know that my hot air from the engine will not go back to the air intake cause it has been mod. the hot air is channled out to my rear tail by a hose. any way the smell of the evoporating engine oil smell is awful when i am in traffic light.so i also got to ensure my EO dun evoporate dry la..... i guess i am right on this mod...

745, actuali meant to ask u..so when u ride ur engine is cooler.. does it exceed the halfway mark on temp gauge?

 

mayb i wanna try tis mod if it improves d performacne... but point d hose lower or sometin to reduce d smell.. i dun pillion so no worry abt suffocatin d pillion rider haha

clumsy person i am , i dun knw any DIY, sad case. i dun even dare to take out the fairings, afraid i dun knw how to put it back. dun haf much bladers kakis around, only 2, and 2 of them also dun really know much, not to mention DIY. gonna learn alot from u guys from here! hehe

"Most important thing to do before anything else when buying one of these bikes is valve clearance check and adjustment. This is something that will ensure that your bike is in good mechanical order, if the previous owner has neglected this task then you run a high risk of the valve clearances being way out which can lead to dropped valves, blown heads, hard starting, poor power and all manner of other symptoms.

 

Do this first up at a garage as it should be done by people who know what they are doing. If it hasn't been done get your carbs cleaned and balanced and a new inline fuel filter at the same time as the tank will be off anyway so it saves you some labour time"

Myusha, i read from bro HRCSP or somtin dat got those racing type aftermarket radiator.. 2nd hand at $250 ..can check wif him wer to get...bigger radiator better since our blades are hot ...!!!\\

hi ninja, how much does it cost to do valve clearance? basically, i got my bike from a frn, it was laid up for damn long, n he just it to a bikeshop to get it started n running again. i got it from him recently, n riding it personally, i feel its kinda sluggish when picking up speed when thottle, as if the valve is jammed.(1st few days were ok), and theres this loud sound which appears to come from the chain area since day1, although the chain seems fine to me. Since i know nuts about bikes, i'll probably need to get some1 experienced enuff to know what our cbr needs to be changed, so that i can change minimal and the vital stuff n improve the current performance of the bike. Any bros here going down to bikeshops during wkends and willing to help?

valve clearance cost 70+ bucks. checking and adjusting.. Not included if shims nd to change.. if so then ++ $$ done at bikeworks. take 2-3 days.
