rpm go up to 5k, den aft 5k the more you throttle, the bike will wobble rite? If tt is the case den it shld b fuse coz i kena it b4.

 

yes! thats exactly what is happening to my bike...

 

i already checked the fuse in the fuse box (under the left hand air duct)

all is not blown..

 

where else to check the fuse ?

try the one under the seat to the left of ur battery. the fuse for ur starter solenoid. if im nt wrong mine last time tt fuse blow then bike go crazy..

Guys..I thought of buying a Cbr for myself and i don really know how and wad to check for the bike itself..I don mind having coffee now if you guys don mind and at the same time i learn how to check for a well maintain CBR..Currently does not have any sport bike knowledge yet just wan to know more about the bike itself..Staying bedok:P

I really really really deeply wanna thank a CBR mate who also surfs this forum,i forgot his nick.This is why i wanna thank him so much and i greatly appreaciate his help.Please PM me if u see this.Today when i went to JB at around 11 , my bike died off exactly at the Malaysian Customs.i tried everything to get it started but it just wouldnt work.so i had no choice,i didn know what to do.so i pushed my bike all the way to the Petrol station,Mobile to be particular.i pumped full and was stranded there thinking about the options which i hardly had.And then came the saviour Fellow Cbr400 RR rider,with Yoshi exhaust and His paint work is Black and red.I pushed my bike to the side and i told him about my problem and he willlingly said he would help me push start the bike .after a few tries finally my bike started.Without him i wouldnt have know what to do as the bike shop was also pretty far away and i was in a foreign country.I really wanna thank this kind soul.Thanks =)

RM3.15 P/LITRE

i pump 7 litres only paid RM22...usually is bout 14 litres RM28...

 

i still cant believe it..dunno if i imagining the numbers or i really saw that amount...

just tested my bike and now it can go more than 5k on the rpm, speed is much much much better! (yes finally can go more than 100km)

 

i think maybe because i changed the meter clock (bought from ebay)

the old one didnt work and somehow it got crazy after i connected the one i bought form ebay......

 

it has been months for me to figure this out...

ahhh at last finally...i got freedom of speed...

(but now the carburettor is leaking petrol a bit, will have to go to singapore soon and get a replacement)

i think tt one referring to caltex cos usually caltex RM1.90+ then shell is RM2.10+ so the increase of 40% will lead to caltex costing RM2.70 n shell RM3.15.

guys...wanna ask...if i clean my chain using kerosene...do i need to wash of the kerosene using water before lubbing the chain..?or can i jus let it dry den lub the chains...?thanks...

I heard abt kerosene can wash the chain v cleanly, but i prefer using a chain cleaner. Becoz i scared the kerosene might wah away the lubricant inside our chain o-ring. So either i spend a bit of money using a chain cleaner or i dun wash my chain.

yes the bike is damn powerful but eat petrol as well. love the 2 endcan. lol but the maintainace and petrol comsumption is a no no to me. i see busa can squeeze through traffic jam so sp1 might not be a prob.. well if im rich probably i will get but im not

What modification you have in ur bike? I might wan. Heehee. I dun need a hurricane header coz i am using a "L" model header liao. But i may wan other stuff. Heehee.
