yes.....

kinda waste of $$...

coz the nitrogen also will escape in a period of time, say 1-2mths.

so by that time either u need to fill up with normal air again. or pay to pump nitrogen...

i had tried using nitrogen for a few mths. The bike proved to be lighter n easier handling ( might be due to the weight of the wheels reducing). about the prolonged life of the tires.. not really... haa.. instead.. my tires all wear out ard the same no. of mths.. 4-5mths.. heee...

Suck it n ride!

Hi craz_03, thanks for the info.

I have already got my two wheels pumped with nitrogen gas (N2).

I will be going to M'sia this coming sunday to try and feel out the tyres.

Will update you guys next week. :thumb:

think about this, there is 78% of Nitrogen in the air.

Bingo! Pump something that is already in the air. I wonder if pump Helium, what will happen to the tires. Do I get quick, agile and light bike?

Hi GS777, thanks for your info.

N2 gas benefit for our tyres.

a) save fuel

b) take six months or longer to refill tyre pressure.

c) cool temp inside, don't damages inner liners, belt packages and rims.

d) extends tyres life as much as 25%.

e) Nitrogen (N2) is moisture free, no more rust on steel belt and rims.

The above info come from the factory.

Not friendly for track goers... :D

Which is the reason why i stick back to normal air pumps..

True but not true...

Because oxygen reacts = can cause tires bursting at high temp, oxidation, etc. Nitrogen as an inert gas, has more advantages over normal gas. Hence, F1 racing use nitrogen gas.

Normal air is good enough for road riding. :)

Hi guys, I have riding around last sunday in S'pore on a sunny day.

After ten days with the N2 gas inside the tyres, I feel the diff is that the tyres are still not "lazy" compare with the normal air. That show the N2 gas dont leak so fast. I am told that it can last abt 3 months.
