if u're able to ride a bicycle then u're good to go...shifting gears all that will be taught at the centre, although it does help "knowing" beforehand....How long will all depend on u....

it a must to learn bike to shift gears. learning bike is not the same as learning car where there r option to learn manual or auto tranmissions.

the last time i tried to engage gear on a 250cc bike, I nearly tip over the left, thats why im worried and looking for a small bike.Yes i can ride a bicycle :) I ride ebikes overseas. Any recommendation on a light bike thats comfortable, handles well and is low but not racing style type?

Guess you are better off with a scooter. Still, you need to pass the test which you are tested on a normal motorcycle with gear shifting/switching to get your 2b license.

Reminds me the good old days where those adding 1st lesson...need to hit tires and park bike on main stand....very funny...hehehe...

Anyway dun worry so much...all will be taught in school. 250cc is in a different class. that is y the license structure is 2b - 200cc & 400cc

Jus take the lessons and enjoy.

i think it's better u start learning first and think about what bike to buy later. Even if u decided not to buy one later...having the licence is an advantage for the future...
