bike got repossessed

dear forumers,my bike got repossessed after defaulting payment for 2 months installment and that after that they sent me a letter asking me to pay them the default installment, overdue interest, storage fee, repossession fee, is it possible to negotiate to pay only the overdue interest and defaulted installment?

the reason that the change the repossession fee is ridiculous as the amount is $200+....

anyways to negotiate to pay a lesser amount?

btw the bikeshow is a*pho*n(hopefully someone has got the same situation as me as before with the same bikeshop and can guide me along..thanks)

lifes like that. the bike shop has the right to charge you heaven and earth because it was your fault to default on payments. What you can do now is go down to the bike shop as soon as possible with every single cent you have and negotiate the terms. You will be lucky to waive the storage fee. but repossession fee, interest, installments confirm have to pay.

kind of depressing because the repo fee is $200+ yet the storage fee is only $18.20.

haha. let's say the amount is calculated as below:

hire purchase amount outstanding: $327 (3mths but i defaulted 2 months only,if its 2 mths,it should be $218)

overdue interest: $15

storage fee: $18.20

repo fee: $214.20

total $574.20 or $465.20 if its 2mths installment.

 

anyways for me to actually negotiate with them to pay them lesser than the stipulated amount that is added up?
