How to Buy 2nd Hand Bike?

Hi All,

 

Im about to get my 2B licence. Currently, I got my sight set on Kawasaki KRR150 due to the fact that it's easy to maintain and easy to find parts. What do you think? Other reccomendations? I just need a bike to get from point A to B, but not RXZ...need a bit stylo...hehe

 

Besides checking out the bike since Im getting 2nd hand, other questions are:

 

1) How about the COE?

2) road tax?

3) insurance?

4) any other legal documents I need to pay or settle?

5) what is the process of settling all these?

1) kr still new left afew more years

4) if u buy private seller , transfer ownership fee less than 50. From shop different thing already

i disagree on the easy for maintenance,kr is easy to maintain if you get a good condition. it is a racing bike and need more attention IF something goes wrong due to the engine complicity. just to keep in mind, not to scare you..haha

 

coe you can check at one motoring online using the bike's number plate at the "transfer fee" section. there you can check the transfer fee you need to pay (not necessarily 50+, maybe more).the road tax and coe. the insurance you call up the insurance company
