Yo,

Just bought a KTM2 dirt bike. Previous owner just changed the chain and sprocket. Looks brand new, not even black. Still got factory grease on it!

Unfortunately, I just sent the bike to my regular dirt bike mechanic (whom I trust) to do an engine oil change and he said I was using the wrong type of chain. It was too big, and no dirtbike really uses such a big chain. he said it was 505 or something like that.

So I had to change to the proper chain.

I was wondering if the old chain has any resale value. Can the master link be reused?

Or because it's already been installed once, it cannot be used again.

have to see wat type is the master link..

some can be reuse while some have to replace wif a new master link.

wat is the chain size u intend to sell.. the length oso play a part..

if the chain length is too short for other bike model, then cannot use..

but i think mostly scambler use longer chain.. nv own one b4..
