Dont worry gbat, you will get the hang of it and it will be a piece of cake compared to what you will be experiencing in the practical lessons! Have you cleared all your theory lessons yet?

I bought an SP with 7 years COE at $1250..Quite a steal I would say Yup bought it from SBF, http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php/359812-Wts-Sp-nsr150-fast-sale! . I towed the bike over because I still have to keep it in laid up status and the address is my house so have to tow it to my house. If you see a very very good deal you can just buy first...hope I don't fail if not will be really damn sian haha

apply for PDL then go computer book enter your PDL expire date and name and stuff, next day or even on that day can book practical! bike not heavy! is matter of time when you get use to it! please enjoy learning.. i miss those days in circuit...

Now push start also cannot start :\ I will be sending it for servicing next tues before my TP...even if I pass/fail must repair the bike!

Gear 2, Clutch in, Push until got good momentum, let go clutch and gas. THe thing is my engine did start then it jsut died. It was like vrooomm piak piak piak dead. I think need to wash carb and stuff cos the bike layup for awhile...But the funny thing is 2 days ago the bike could start with just 1 kick on the kickstart.

You better not lol..Sure regret. The YBR125 when riding on road revision alr like struggling sia at 50-60km/h. And it will get pretty boring if you keep riding it like me, too much revisions made YBR125 boring

you might wanna pm me..? what you say is correct. but to push better.. is 2 person push. push push push. BUT it may because battery die but thats not possible. I even help my friend to push start his SP, with NO neutral light when turned on, and manage to start it! i got 2 shop. one in singapore, one at malaysia. singapore one is along the... bendemeer road. boonkeng there.. malaysia.. well i got a shop there. dk how to tell you haha.

Oh.. change fork oil seal.. coolent pump spoil fix liao.. carb wash and clean and re setting again... decarbonizing. removing my stopper. which is illegal. had a illegal pipe for sp too.. used it but recently changed back to stock. but with illegal system.. some accessories. If you stay nearby i could come down now and help you out haha.

Go get a good looking bike man! You won't regret it..I originally wanted to get a phantom just to save costs but after I got my SP, nv regretted making that choice. Insurance can siam...but the door to changi chalet also open for you. Free curry rice everyday hahaha.

Haha sure sure I bet go overseas buy bike will be at least 50% cheaper! Hahahaha. Yeah I am a vintage bike person...I like the vespa...but too bad auto! Auto bike no fun! I know ger can ride big bike...but my worst nightmare is when bike fall down, then I cannot pick up! Haha!

ah i forgot tell you about insurance.. for now, all new license holder insurance charge us by license age. means either you just pass or old rider.

different bike got different quota. For now sport bike + i am a P plater cost me $1125/NTUC.

If it were to be other bikes it is to be sure more then $800. Depending on bike AND your license.

After 1 year, (no p plate and age older. 21 above) it will be cheaper and cheaper. also depending on your bike..

Yup especially if your a student, you need to work lol...I calculated maintenance to be at least $150 per month for everything excluding major servicing and stuff and without heavy riding.

Yup like what Spheda said just book all 4 lessons straight if possible so dont need waste time to travel there and fro. Yes theory is in a classroom, damn boring one haha.
