Share wat is e points u r getting for? Else unable to advise. or system change le such tat now e points given for road no breakdown?

 

Things to watch up for would be too much acceleration, wrong gears, too much breaking, stopping like unstable, too near to e vehicle in front, changing lane too fast/slow, etc. Many many things to watch out for.

 

points that I kena for the 2x are: change lane abruptly, wobble when changing lane, cause other vehicle to slow down, wide turning and improper checking of blind spot.

 

first time is route 2, suddenly so many vehicles pop out when reaching U turn point. 2nd time is route 1. lighter traffic but still cmi.

 

why don't want go road revision leh? I went for about 2 road revisions before my prac 8 and managed to pass on first try. instructors will also tell u where you went wrong during road revisions (usually when we stop at traffic lights, or when kena jam) so it's helpful.

 

danielling1981 said it...there's really quite a number of things to take note (and can go wrong during TP :/) when riding on the road...i know the instructors look out for engine braking when you stop. usually you will be in 4th/5th gear when approaching cross junction and you have to step down your gears 1 by 1 in advance before you stop. maybe sound like common sense but they keep saying so i guess it's important.

another place always kena is filter lanes. stop on zebra crossing, stop in 2 rows, stop at the left side, forget to check blindspot, never lookout for u-turn vehicles all these are quite common mistakes.

 

just go road revision lah...won't die one haha. then pester instructor to help you.

The points you get as you state does and will affect the safety of other road users and yourself. Would you want to be riding on public roads even before you are ready or do you want to be really ready?

 

My advice to you is go for revisions. Take your time to be really prepared. It may take longer but its a good thing for your safety.

actually if i were you. just go 1 revision then ji tao go prac 8. cus if fail. can book again. If fail you can learn your mistakes. If pass good, learn your minor mistake. but if its TP.. then you be serious..

Most okay, i don't like the mid height skinny and old one. He always : okay, uh the blind spot okay, uh, must check uh, okay, uh, understand. If you know who i am talking about. Road usually will see him.

Heres a tip: Dont buy the YBR125 once you pass TP....they are really slowpokes lol. Built to cruise at 60km/h...

Enrolled last month, completed my Prac 1 last week and waiting for prac 2.

I am curious with the teaching system in CDC. My first time for Prac 1, the instructors did not teach us Speeding and Cornering, so all of us did not manage to complete Prac 1. As for my 2nd attempt, I managed to get 1 chop for Moving and the instructor only left with 5mins to teach us cornering, like that none of the newbie can complete the whole Prac right?! Is this normal?

 

I realised that the instructors teaches us to throttle first then slowly release clutch. I thought learners have to learn to feel the biting point (means release clutch) first before we throttle?

Normal. Blame yourself for being in a group with learners who are clueless about riding a bike. They do not teach you to corner. They only teach you how to negotiate a bend safely. If you release clutch and get biting point then you throttle sure engine stall. So must throttle just a tiny bit and release clutch slowly.
