IIRC,

its like making a big fig of 8 in the circuit.

1: First T junction, turn left.

After zebra crossing turn left.

Traffic light, turn left.

After traffic light, change to 1st lane.

T junction, turn right.

After first arrow marking, change to 2nd lane.

After bend, change to 1st lane then turn right.

Traffic light turn right and change to 2nd lane.

Repeat 1.

Got technique. Dunno y they only teach in cls 2 when 2a bikes also heavy and hard to lift without e technique.

I am right handed so right side is my master side. If u left master just switch accordingly.

Basically u put ur right side knee/thigh below e area f ur fuel tank left side. Left hand some where comfy. Right side on handlebar right side. Be ready to hold e bike straight else will fall onto e other side. ._.

use e strength in ur legs to lift e bike off e ground. Not ur arms. Once ur bike is off e ground just continue e motion and bike will come up. Then just need to control ur strength and dun let it fall onto e other side.

If got chance when go lesson. Look at how e cls2 lesson do it.

haha i think they got teach, but it's still kinda hard for me T.T haiz. disadvantages of being a zhabor when it comes to riding bike.

Back from pract 2, 1st time and failed. :(

Very cui... Cannot managed to digest and apply immediately what the instructor said.

Can't get the biting point smoothly, engine stall, jammed up the circuit, and start to wobble when move off.

Sad~~~~~~~~~~~

To make the matter worst, I did not turn to the correct turn as per the instructions, and ride all the way up, 1 big round, 2x somemore!!!

Instructors didnt know I gone 'missing' the last round, I only realised when I see no green tag learner already... lol..

Can't recognise the circuit when riding night...

It's ok. I took 3 or 4 times to pass prac 2 HAHA. I think prac 2 a lot of info to learn, it took me awhile to remember everything. Slowly ba. Most imptly is u managed to learn everything and make it a habit to check blind spots, signal etc. I've seen people in circuit revisions and later lessons who still dun signal properly or check their blind spots properly.

U taking cls 2 now? Or they change such tat 2b also teach lift bike. And i agree with duo.

Anyway i ve seen before small size ladies doing e cls2 test. Their problems actually is with pushing e bike in fig 8. Lifting bike is all in e technique

Definitely chee ko. People do not just naturally be better at something without practice and hard work. I hope this would encourage you. It could be true what you just said. They let you stay longer. You girls are their eye candy.

@xevioso. So u already tried to pick up e cls 2 bike or just theory?

@duo. It is science tat males ve better hand eye coordination which helps us learn faster and be more comfortable behind a machine.

But it does not translate to better riders/ drivers. :)

Thanks bro for the enlightenment.

Haha yup, thanks! I never give up though! My hard work paid off (somewhat) in prac 8, where I managed to pass on first try...but before that it was tough. And super embarrassing. That's why I also try to encourage other learners when they feel demotivated too :D

Dunno about TP yet, but hope I pass. Haha!

Help help guys,

I want to buy bike now, but how to layup vehicle?! Do I really need "Approval letter from premise owner or relevant authority permitting the vehicle to be garaged at their premise throughout the lay up period."???

Just practice more at school pick up e bike. hen i first drop my 2a bike also couldnt get it up. becoz i was using my arms more than my legs. Once i understood then no prob le.

For lay up i dunno but u can contact LTA. And u can "garage" it at ur carpark also as long as buy seasons parking or pay coupon. I think put at shop also same but dun do tat unless u really trust?

Call up and ask LTA. I have heard of many cases whereby the owner no licence bought bike and lay up. Hand too itchy decided to ride in carpark and got caught. If you really trust yourself and sure can control the urge then get it. I would still advise against it. A little advice though please disconnect the battery if you laying it up.

Because motorcycle require constant running of engine to keep the battery alive, it will be troublesome for non riders or still cannot ride. Older bikes need engine run above few rpm to start charging the battery i guess.

First go to Sin Ming LTA. Then transfer ownership of bike to you and ask for layup. Then tow the bike from the previous premises to the address stated in your layup form. You do not need any relevant authority or approval letter unless you are planning to have it lay up in Malaysia.

Hi guys, goona enroll for my 2b but idk which school to go. No offense, i heard many bad stories of cdc instructors not being helpful and are bias. I dont mean to insult any of you here by saying that cdc is not a good school but i just want the best out of learning how to handle a bike properly and all the safety aspect

of it so i am wondering is it that bad to learn in cdc as i have a number of friends that gave up learning half way and i dont want to make their mistake. Sorry if i offended anyone here. Just trying to be careful as hard earn money is at stake as i am a student working part time.

I believe most of us were students when we enrolled. Whichever school you choose is up to you. For me its the distance travelled that matters. As long as you are not a quitter I am sure you will not make the same mistake as your friends. If you really want to get a bike licence wherever you learn you will pass. Its those quitters that always blames everything else besides themselves.

duo said it. "If you really want to get a bike licence wherever you learn you will pass."

CDC has good instructors and bad instructors, but I think the good ones outweigh the bad ones. The thing is don't let the bad ones bring you down. I've had some CDC uncles (actually just this 1 grumpy fella =.=) getting super impatient with my noob questions, he got really annoyed! Haha. Of course my questions didn't get an answer. Some more had to deal with his pissed off face! But I'll still try again with another instructor, until I understand. It's like that. I don't think any school will have 100% good instructors...How bad do you want help? If you really want it, you will get it.

I think to really get better at riding practice is more impt than anything else. It's more about you than the instructors or the school :)
